Nanjing Xuanwu District Hotels

Stayed at Grand Metro Park Hotel 3 nights, ( December 2024) with family. Received the room we wanted. Staff was helpful. Pool closed, but was clear when we booked so wasn't disappointed. Breakfast- many options, though nothing *spectacular*. Super clean. 2 water bottles everyday. Great view of the Nanjing Museum, though military morning exercises can be heard from down the street. Overall, ok. Maybe better for a Chinese travel group or business-persons.

The new hotel is located in the scenic area of Zhongshan yet remains not too far from everything - a huge contrast to the hustle and bustle downtown. Got assigned a room facing the front courtyard and it could be noisy at times when guests and locals walk past while chatting loudly. The musical fountain could also be annoying if you're not into that kind of thing. Everything in the room worked as they should be except the master lighting control, which was a bit funny - could be a wiring problem. Staff was very welcoming and polite. Security was a bit slack as they'd give you a new key card without having first check your ID.

Clean and spacious room, close to xuanwu lake. Close to metro and Nanjing railway station. Breakfast is OK. Receptionists on the first day when arriving are willingly helpful. Only smell of tobacco painted in the room is allergically disturbing, though 2 room changed already.

This time I stayed in Lijing Building, and I felt that the price and conditions were quite suitable. Convenient travel: Lijing Building is very close to the Underwater World and the Insect Museum. You can also take a taxi directly to the entrance of Lijing Building, and it is also very close to the gate. Convenient food and accommodation: Check-in is done at Zijin Building, and the hotel food is also in Zijin Building, but there is a wind and rain corridor between Zijin Building and Lijing Building, so you don’t have to worry even if it rains heavily, which is very convenient. The hotel offers a two-person set meal for only 198 yuan, and the dishes are very good, especially the beef is really good. The breakfast buffet in the morning is also very rich. My favorite is the wine-fermented dumplings, red bean sugar taro seedlings and roasted red, the taste is really amazing! Complete facilities: The hotel also has a gym. It is very comfortable to walk in the gym after dinner. Good environment: Lijing Building is very quiet, and sleeping at night will not be affected in any way. Good service: Manager Wang Xinyuan at the front desk received us warmly and thoughtfully, and provided us with very complete guidance. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to her! It was the hotel's warm, thoughtful and complete service that made our trip worry-free and enjoyable!

Let me talk about the advantages first: ① Parking is convenient, just go to the front desk to register your license plate. ②The room has a good layout and good lighting. ③The decoration is good, the air conditioning is powerful, and there is no odor in the room. Thumbs up. ④The breakfast is rich and good. Disadvantages: ① The windows cannot be closed, and the wind outside will make a rattling sound, which will affect the children's sleep, especially when it is time to go to bed at 11 or 12 o'clock. ②When I checked in, the front desk kindly recommended the 24-hour service on WeChat. I reported the situation at 11pm, but no one responded until 0:06am when someone replied to me on WeChat. When I opened my phone, I saw that the message had been withdrawn and there has been no follow-up. Is this the service advertised? ③There was a flying insect on the pillow, and my hair was pressed underneath. The next day, I suddenly felt several lumps on my body. I didn’t know if it was the sheets, the quilt, or my own problem.

Hotel room is clean and all staffs are kind. Breakfast is also good.

The hotel experience is very good. It is next to Nanjing Station, about 300 meters away on foot, and it is very convenient to travel. You can cross the road to Xuanwu Lake. You can go to Xuanwu Lake for a stroll after dinner in the evening. You can also see the night view of Xuanwu Lake in the room. The buffet breakfast is diverse and tastes good. What impressed me most was the service of this hotel. From the moment I entered the door, a staff member helped me take my luggage to the front desk, and there were also personalized services such as welcome tea and dust towels. I called the front desk and solved the problem very promptly. The Chinese restaurant on the 3rd floor is very convenient to dine in, and the portions of the dishes are very conscientious. The girl Qiuyue at the front desk is very enthusiastic. The service attitude is very good and I am very satisfied. Overall, the check-in experience is very good.

The room is nice and clean, the location is good, the breakfast is delicious, and the parking is convenient. It is very close to the sightseeing bus of Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, across the road. There are also delicious food downstairs. Good, good, good

The hotels are located near the style department zone and close to exit no.2 of Guangzicun station. I stayed there on the last day of the year, December 31st, 2023, and the hotel was fully booked. However, I did not experience any uncomfortable events. The breakfast was excellent, with a proper international buffet compared to other Chinese hotels. Overall, I would return and stay on a higher floor for a good view.

The hotel’s location is excellent - it’s right next to Xuanwu Lake, Nanjing Railway Station, and the Metro Station. Exiting the hotel, you'll find the lake's greenway right in front of it. The lakeview room was great. While the reception staff did not speak English, the check-in process was smooth and easy. However, the room's insulation was not great, so it could get a bit noisy at times due to sounds from the hallway or neighbouring rooms. Overall, my stay was worth it.
