Constructing the Five Elephant Hotel is already a strange hotel name and to add on to this.. the signboard reads "Wuxiang International Hotel" which added to the confusion. Names aside, key points of the hotel listed below:
~Cleanliness is not the best but hotel is well kept and rooms are clean
~Hotel looks old from the outside but the rooms are pretty new from renovation
~Location is excellent as retail stores, F&B and the MIXC Mall are all nearby. There are also many street foodstalls and a wet market within 300m
~Hotel rate is pretty reasonable too

Reception staff- they are not good at English but they tried to help us. We used google translate for communication. I appreciated them for their support and kindness.
Size- great. I booked the big room and all was good
Cleanliness- good both the bedroom and toilet room but people or customers can smoke everywhere
Amenities- no fridge. Others were nice.
Location- it is in the CBD so it is convenient to go anywhere easily and I liked it. Lots of shops and restaurants near the hotel and it is near the Nanning exhibition center. However, the name of the hotel is not the same as the name on Trip.com. I had to check it with the staff again.

The room is very good and the transportation is very convenient. There are government agencies next to it and the security is high. The hotel lobby manager is very nice. He patiently and meticulously answers all questions asked. Thumbs up👍. I forgot to take pictures of the room, so I wanted to post about the weather and the beautiful sunset I happened to see on the three streets and two alleys when I first arrived😊
