The stay at Marriot has been very comfortable that we decided to extend 1 more night. Service are exceptional especially Arthur and Sally, who had been very helpful. Arrived at the hotel in the morning but Sally helped to arrange a clean room for early check in. Arthur helped to resolve the card and room extension. Will come back again!

I chose Renaissance Hotel to listen to Zhou Shen's concert. The location is very convenient, the transportation is good, and there are many places to eat nearby. I chose an executive king room with executive benefits, including afternoon tea and light meals in the evening. I had a light meal in the executive lounge at 6 o'clock and then went to the concert, and came back for a midnight snack. The service at Renaissance is very good, the staff is very enthusiastic, the room is clean and tidy, and the gym is also very good. Breakfast has Laoyou noodles and Guilin rice noodles. It is very convenient to have a free shuttle bus to watch the concert, which is much more convenient and faster than taking the subway. When my friends came back and finished the show, they were still crowded in the subway station and queuing for security checks, and I had already arrived at the hotel to have a midnight snack. The manager service manager Zhou these two days sent everyone to the shuttle bus every day, and waited for the shuttle bus to come back at the hotel entrance at night. Let me start by saying I checked in for 1 night and after breakfast decided to stay for a further 3 nights! From the moment you enter the amazing foyer you get the sense this hotel is going to impress and it does. The rooms while not enormous (I stayed in a king river view room) are really spacious and the bathroom is excellent including both a tub and powerful shower. I had a really deep and relaxing sleep and woke refreshed. The room lighting is even really soothing as is the colour scheme. The view from the balcony is beautiful looking over the lush gardens onto the river and hills in the distance. And then there was breakfast- a huge range of western and local foods in the salubrious dining room reminded me of when a hotel stay was almost an event (before a lifetime of traveling made them just a necessity). I can’t wait to try out the pools over the coming days and I’m sure the remaining nights will be as restful as the first. Highly recommended.

Overall, I thought the place was pretty good. Everyone there was helpful and nice. The room was clean, however starting to show its age. Some of the tiles grout are gone, and u can see gaps. The gap between the carpet and the tile needs to be sealed or covered. Biggest downer was my kid had a stomachache after having their breakfast. She felt better after she vomit. The hotel personnel did come to check up and brought her some porridge, milk and fruit, but she didn’t eat any. Next day we only used the breakfast for their coffee. I did use their pool. Wish it was a little warmer.

An old five-star hotel. This is my first time staying here in 9 years. Although the decoration is different from the current popular style, it is still great, cost-effective, spacious, comfortable and quiet (the quietest hotel I have stayed in during this holiday), but some facilities and equipment are indeed aging, such as the makeup mirror in the bathroom is loose and the mirror is also broken, but it does not affect the overall experience. It is worth recommending. The prices are very reasonable during the Spring Festival. Great 👍🏻
