I spent 2 nights and enjoyed my time with my wife and kid to the fullest. Some stuff can speak English which does feel more comfortable. The bath was great and so was the pool facilities. I’ll be back for a third time

I chose this hotel because I wanted a staycation with an open air swimming pool. The room was big and spacious, with a beautiful balcony (but not on the swimming pool). The bathroom had both a bathtub and a shower and all around the room there were little surprises such as fish food to use for the pond fish, little mottos in both chinese and english, bathgel and other toiletries. What was not evident, though, is that some of this things were not for free! The big bottle of water that we expected to be free (5star hotel, 500 yuan per room!!) was indeed not, and it was written in extremely fine prints on the bottle. Same for the tea leaves in the teaset!
Another disappointment was the breakfast. The choice and quality were ok, but definitely not at a 5-star hotel level. No choice in sweet bread, no coffee and very little variety of fruits.

Wenfeng is a garden-style hotel with beautiful environment, shaded by green trees, and very quiet. The rooms are spacious, bright, clean and tidy. There is sandalwood and two high and low pillows, one of which is a cassia seed pillow. The breakfast is rich, with a wide variety and very fresh. The bathroom is equipped with a disposable toilet seat and a mouthwash cup with a sterilized paper lid. The front desk staff is very warm and thoughtful. They upgraded our room, which is very warm. The waiter Ma Jinxiang saw that we had wet clothes and specially added a clothes drying rack for us and dried them. There is a night bed service. The waiters Ma Jinxiang and Zhang Meiqin, when they confirmed that we had returned to the room, brought us a hot supper and carefully said to us: "Be careful of burning your mouth", which is very warm. It is really a Wenfeng Hotel where true feelings are seen in the subtle depths and touching moments are always there.
