We were there for a very quiet period in early May, just weeks into their summer season. I can't recommend the hotel enough. The location is fabulous -- a 5-6 minute walk from the main restaurant area of Naoussa, but still quiet and on a lovely beach, perfect balance between remote and too city-constrained. The staff were great, and the facilities reflect that this place opened just 2 years ago -- everything feels brand-new.

Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the full experience. Having just come from luxury hotels on other islands, we were excited by the prospect of staying at Avant Mar, knowing we were paying a premium price for what we expected to be a 5 star and beyond resort. Unfortunately, our hopes were dashed almost immediately. While the property itself is lovely, as we walked to our 3rd floor room we walked right past the trash dumpsters out back and workers on their smoke break. Again, nothing wrong with that at a normal hotel, not one that's demanding you pay a much higher room rate. The pros - the staff for breakfast was lovely and attentive. The pool is nice. Rooms cleaned daily. Location is close to town. The cons - the rooms are small. For certain rooms, the bathroom is smaller than what you might find in a typical European budget hotel. To walk to town, be ready to either head across the beach or up a steep incline to get to the main road. Overall, while a lovely hotel, the value is one of the worst I've experienced. There are dozens of hotels around Avant Mar that have just as great a location, but the value is no doubt much better. This is a regular, nice hotel trying to make you believe it's luxury based on price alone and social media like settings.

One of our all-time great vacations. Well-appointed rooms, attentive service, spectacular surroundings. Special thanks to Stathis, Vangelis, Costas, Irene (Spa) and of course Anna (Manager). This was our family's first visit to Paros, and Avant Mar made it memorable. Wonderful!

10 STAR! Everything was perfect! Room, amenities, food, spa, location walking to town, even in the dark! My room had all that i needed and much more. Bed was very comfortable, turn down service, attentive staff. Cannot say anything bad, except one thing, I did not want to leave!!!!! Paros is a beautiful island. Greece weather in October was summer and not crowded.

There are so many reasons why we had an excellent stay at Avant Mar. The Hotel is beautiful, direct access to beach, the swimming pool is wonderful, the room with stunning view, one of the best shower cabin I ever had, Aesop products, the smell of towels, and so much more are very lovely. The staff is very friendly and engaged.

Beautiful hotel! The setting, the rooms, absolutely gorgeous!!! Has a private beach area with stunning view of the Mediterranean Sea. At night the bar area and the Michelin Star restaurant are simply amazing. Highly recommended for couples, friends or families with small children. Quiet and luxurious! The staff is super friendly and they speak multiple languages

The Avant Mar is a lovely hotel in a great location…on the beach and walking distance to Naoussa. The hotel is new, clean and well laid out. The staff are very good, attentive, polite and always offering to help. The rooms are quirky in design and the lighting system deserves an operations manual.
