Very nice handy location, lovely looking building, nice pool, across the road a lovely beach. Nicely kept gardens. Extremely happy with my choice. Ari the waiter at the pool bar was exceptional! Extremely helpful and could not do enough for our large group of friends and family. There was another lady who worked at the hotel, at breakfast and at the pool bar also exceptional - friendly and attentive. There were some people not so friendly. Guess it was end of season but their attitude was disappointing and unwelcoming. The 2 euro cost to have a clean towel seemed petty in my opinion. Also disappointing is lack of places to keep your clothes! No drawers and little hanging areas. Apart from this, our stay was not ruined as the lovely people made up for the rude people. And as mentioned the location was perfect.

We had a fantastic time on this beautiful island during our vacations, staying at an exceptionally accessible hotel with my friends. The hotel is not only accessible but also offers a wide array of facilities, including delicious coffee and food, along with exceptionally kind and helpful staff. I wholeheartedly recommend this place. The hotel's location is outstanding. Numerous activities and attractions are nearby, ensuring that there's always something exciting to do.

This was one of my favourite hotels during our 7-week trip to Europe. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even providing us with a map of the nearby town to explore. The hotel offered complimentary breakfast (though gluten-free options were limited) and included shaded areas and beach chairs right in front of the beach. It’s the perfect spot for a honeymoon, and I would absolutely stay here again!

First off I will start by saying I have never left A bad review, I’m not a complainer. This hotel has changed that. We arrived early and were told they would speak with the maid so out room would be cleaned first sand we could check in early. While sitting by the pool we watched every other room cleaned, ours was last. Then we get into the room and we read that not only can we not use the fridge we are not allowed any outside food or drinks in our own room. The owner denies this in response to other reviews, but look at the photo of their own rules and experiences of others who left reviews who were threatened with being evicted from the hotel. While sitting by the pool side with our luggage from 7 am till 3 pm many staff members walked by all day long and we saw not one smile from any of them, quite the opposite. After reading many negative reviews online while waiting, some people mentioned that if you’re not buying their food and drinks they were treated worse so we figured out we were being punished and left waiting so long for a room because we didn’t buy anything from their bar. And at that time we decided we would not buy anything from them, and our poolside drinks and food sometimes exceeds the room rate and we’re big tippers, 20% . Their loss is the only good feeling I have about this Horrible hotel. The person with the bun on his head running the bar {must be family } always had a miserable look on his face except when he was hitting on young thin pretty girls, and he came by often to check on them with a big smile, it was creepy. They were also eating outside food at the pool but they were allowed. The breakfast was not good, the fruit had no flavour and there were up to 3 employees at a time standing there watching you, it made me feel like I was stealing or being judged. They say it is to make sure only hotel guests eat, but come on, no one is coming in off the street to steal breakfast. They do it so you will eat less. Again, very unfriendly. When I asked if there were more eggs I was very Rudely answered with “they are being prepared, you wait”. I felt hated and unwelcome in this place and it was the worst 4 nights I have ever spent on vacation. They are just too busy nickel and diming on every aspect and charging 2 euros if you want a clean pool towel on your 5 day stay! It’s too bad as it is a beautiful hotel, pool and beach that are picturesque however the staff overrides all of it STAY AWAY.

Poor Customer Service at a beautiful spot and hotel This was our 11th hotel of 15 on a 5 week across-Europe vacation. The property is beautiful with a glorious pool and beach, loungers included. However, we were truly unable to relax or enjoy our stay completely given the customer service and nickel-and-diming going on. Where went the Greek hospitality we were so happy to be welcomed with in Athens and Naxos? And the utter strangeness of food and drink rules...more on that later. *I know by reading other reviews that the owners are going to come back with an excuse-filled reply, but please read other negative reviews and you will see a common complain that can't be denied. Due to flight times to the island, we arrived at 730am. We realize check-in time and certainly didn't expect a room right away, but we did at least hope maybe to get onto a room a little early if luck went our way. They assured us at the front desk that they would get housekeeping to clean our room first and we sat by the pool. We watched other arrivals being checked into rooms early that had been cleaned before ours and by noon we really needed a break from the sun and heat. As we had watched, we knew that the room that was to be ours was vacated at 9am, and 8 other rooms were cleaned before ours. They did not check us in until 2:45. We have no idea why, of it was that we are North American or maybe that we are very tattooed. But that was a really bad first impression. Breakfast is included and it is just okay. But for some reason 2 or 3 staff members stand and stare, watching over all the guests as they visit the buffet or get a coffee, which just felt a little strange and overbearing. The grounds and room are kept very clean and the pool is large and amazing. But hotel staff do not greet you as you come and go, and some don't even look on your direction or even make eye contact or smile when they walk directly past you, such as the bar guy with the bun. He does not acknowledge your presence in any way unless you are a very young and good looking woman, in which case he greets you EVERY time you come and go, even visiting you at your lounger to check on you. Otherwise, you don't exist in his world. This is such a strange attitude to have at a beach resort, and it resulted in us folks, who have a propensity to spend a lot at a poolside bar AND to tip well as we are from Canada where it is customary to tip 20%, to not purchase any single thing from the bar our entire 5 day stay as the vibe was so unwelcoming. I would rather spend my drink and snack money at a nice seaside bar down the road in Nauossa. But perhaps the strangest part was the food and drink rules we happened to read in the room book when looking for a menu. Apparently you are not allowed to have any food and drink in your room other than what you purchase from their minibar. They go on to state that you are not allowed to take their purchasable items out of the fridge or to store your own items in there. W

A great place, with great staff, great location and everything nice! What a relaxing and beautiful place to stay, so close to the the ocean, actually just ten steps from the pool, and with sunbeds ready for you. This hotel is a little gem, and the pool is supernice, it´s not overcrowded, and the staff is friendly and nice. Everything is super clean, and the breakfast is good. Me and my friend shared a double standard room, with a terrace, and it was very nice. The cleaning staff is great, and very thorough. The hotel´s restaurant may not be as luxurious as some of the fabulous restaurants down in Nauossa, but don´t be fooled, the food is as great, and the service too! We read some of the reviews from other guests before we came, and were a bit sceptical actually. I must say, what on earth are they complaining about? And just for the record, no we are not 23, we are two 38+ women who put comfort above many things. We were treated very friendly, all the staff (yes, also the manager) was super professional, and nice to us. Personally, I have travelled all over the world the last decade, and I do not think the rules or the way this hotel does things are weird, or strict at all. Example: the minifridge in the room, the water and sodas are so cheap, almost the same price as in the local stores, stop complaining about so small matters, come on - this is a family-owned hotel, and greek-owned which is really important to support when you come as a tourist in another country. About the staff staring at you at brekafast, I just think they are there to make sure they replace with new food when people eat and also to help the guests find what they need? And the completly normal rule of not bringing food to the pool area.. I´m sorry, but are you american or something, because that is not allowed anywhere in Europe, not only to avoid people not buying food at the actual restaurant (who brings you drinks and food to your sunbed if you want by the way), but also for hygiene! Greece is not a prop for your Mamma Mia vacay, so please try to educate yourself a bit, and come to different countries in Europe with a bit more understanding and appreciation, and less attitude, Karen. Anyway, we have already booked another trip for 2025, and I can´t wait to wake up for my morning swim! See you next year, Contaratos!

Lovely location, right opposite the beach, clean and tidy communial areas and the pool area was nice, the snack bar at the pool was OK and served nice food, Ari the waiter was a sining star, the rooms are small as a comparison to other places in the vacinity, limited storage space for clothes etc The beach areas were lovely and the area run by the hotel on the beach was clean and well looked after. Now for the down side, some of the staff were very rude and this out shone the good points, it ruined our experience of what could be an exceptional place to stay.

First let me start by saying that the exterior of the hotel is gorgeous! The grounds are beautiful and it is across from a beautiful beach! We have travelled all over, and have found that hotels that are family run are usually the best to stay in as they have a vested interest in making it the best experience for their guests. I can say with out a doubt that that is not the case at this hotel. The staff does not greet you with a smile, or a hello, or anything when they see you. In fact, they walk right past you without acknowledging you are there, The only time you get a smile is at breakfast from the lady that also runs the front desk. Otherwise, she is not friendly either. The man with the bun that runs the beach, I did not hear him be rude to anyone, but he looks absolutely miserable every single day. I tried to get him to smile, but it didn't work. I have never been to a hotel where there is a sign telling you you can not put anything of your own in the mini fridge as they want you to buy their stuff. If you want a clean beach towel...you must pay. No matter how many days you are staying there. They try to nickel and dime you for everything. They offer a breakfast, and I did enjoy the Greek yogurt and honey. Everything else was just plain terrible. Lukewarm at best. The final straw for us with this hotel was we were heading to Milos next and the ferry didn't leave until 6:10 PM. I went online to see if our room (we had the one and only penthouse room) was booked for the next day and it was open for the 2 days after we were to check out. I went to the front desk to ask about getting a late check out. I was told we could stay until noon for free, or if we wanted to stay until 5:00 it would cost 250 Euro's. WHAT? That is crazy. My husband was eating lunch at the bar and started talking to the older gentleman (who we think is the owner) and he said we could stay until 5 and only pay 100 Euro's and asked the gal at the bar to go tell the front desk lady. Well, she got very upset and called another person talking angrily in Greek and then told my husband she would not honor that and it was 250. She stated that that is half the nightly rate and that is the rule world wide. Well, I know that is not the rule world wide as we had just stayed at the Park Hyatt in New York and stayed in our room until we had to leave for the airport at 4 PM for free. And every time we have been to the Maldives, we have been able to stay in our room until our departure for free. We have had it numerous times at various hotels, in fact, we have never had to pay for a late check out. Sometimes it is just about being accommodating to a guest that has spent 2500 Euro's to stay with you. If that room would have been booked and they needed to get in right away to clean it, that would have been a different story. I even tried to tell Christina (very nicely) about how we found the staff to be so unfriendly and rude upon checking out, and even then sh
