I am not one of those people who care about what the hotel looks like from the outside, unless, of course, I'm staying on a beach or some place where you're supposed to hang out on the outside. But if the hotel is just a place to crash when you're passing by, all I care about is the location, price and the room. Napoliday has it all. Since it's not exactly a hotel, but a very big apartment converted into a b&b, the rest of the building where it's located is not too inviting. But once you enter the premises, you are at a very clean and nice place. It's located on a very charming little street right off of the Piazza Dei Martiri, very close to the sea. If you read all these stories about Napoli being loud and dangerous, well, I have to say that, being from Rio de Janeiro, it takes a little more than Napoli to scare me. I found it perfectly safe and walked the streets everywhere at any time. As for being loud, that's nonsense. New York is loud and noisy. It just happens that the italians in the south are expansive and that's one of the main draws, I think. Very charming, very warm people. So are the owners of this place, Gabriella and I forget the other guy's name. I also had one of the best cappucinos I ever had in my life here in this hotel. And I've been around Italy a bit...
