Hospitality and Service: The lodge offers an exceptional experience characterized by outstanding hospitality and service. Many guests praised the attentive, accommodating staff, specifically mentioning the manager Mr. Harpreet Singh for his dedication and expertise.

We’ve stayed at all the Pugdundee properties, and not a single one has ever failed to impress us. Their hospitality is truly a class apart—spotless rooms, warm smiles, and incredibly hardworking staff from housekeeping to the kitchen. They genuinely spoil you (in the best way!) and make sure you’re comfortable at all times. Any special request or menu adjustment is handled gracefully and with a smile. I also love that Pugdundee includes local community members in their naturalist and admin teams—no one can showcase a place better than the people who call it home. Overall, Pugdundee has become our favorite choice for peaceful, eco-friendly vacations away from the chaos of city life. Their lodges are beautifully run, and we’ve even made a few lifelong friends ***** the way. At Kanha Earth Lodge, a special shout-out to Chef Ark; everything a chef should be: kind, attentive, open to feedback (though we had very little to offer because he’s already fantastic!). He remembers specific preferences, uses local produce creatively, and his meals are consistently impressive. Don’t miss his amazing ice creams and desserts. Hari ji at the bar crafted simple yet spectacular Mahua cocktails that we absolutely loved. Sonu ji, quietly painting portraits under a Mahua tree near the reception, is impossible to overlook-his artwork is beautiful and hard to resist taking home. A heartfelt mention for the housekeeping team as well—they keep rooms impeccably tidy and always ensure you return to a cozy space. Coming back from a safari or meal to a pre-warmed or cooled room is such a thoughtful touch. Thanks to the entire team at Kanha Earth Lodge (and Pugdundee Safaris), we can’t imagine planning our jungle trips anywhere else!

Great hospitality, amazing staff, super location/layout (of both the property and the cottage we stayed in) and good food (they customized it to our needs). The communications with them were well managed (special call out to the property manager, Mr. Harpreet Singh). The safaris were well organized and our naturalist (Mr. Ashu) was quite experienced and we learnt a lot about the park. The restaurant staff (esp. Mr. Uday) always went an extra mile to ensure that our toddlers went back happy after every meal. This was our second stay at Pugdundee properties (previously being at Bandhavgarh Tree houses) and the experience has been great at both occassions. Gives us reason to explore another pugdundee property in the near future.
