I stayed at Ibis Nashik on June 18th with my 60-year-old mother, and it was a truly frustrating and disappointing experience. We arrived around 6:30 PM completely drenched from the rain, only to be told our room wasn’t ready because the linen hadn’t arrived. When I requested the room temporarily without linen, they suddenly changed the reason to “the room is dirty.” After repeated requests, only then did they allot a room — proving it was available but intentionally withheld. This lack of empathy and basic courtesy was unacceptable, especially with a senior citizen involved. The room was in terrible condition — the hair dryer didn’t work, the flush was broken, and the bathroom had a foul, unbearable smell. The maintenance standards were shockingly low for a known brand like Ibis. Dinner at their in-house restaurant was another nightmare. We ordered dal and chapati. The dal was clearly old and sour, and the chapati dough was stale and extremely bitter — completely inedible. After just one bite, we had to leave the meal unfinished, and it spoiled our mood for the entire evening. This experience was far below any acceptable hospitality standard. For a brand like Ibis, we expected at least clean rooms, basic functionality, and edible food. Sadly, we got none of that.
