Had an overnight layover at JFK and didn’t want to just sleep in the airport. Searching for something cheaper than what is at the airport and close by that included a free shuttle to/from airport and found this place. Shuttle service: Not sure but runs either on the hour or every 30 mins. Called for pickup after passing customs and retrieving luggage and waited about 20 mins. Took another 25 or so minutes to get to hotel since the shuttle went to multiple terminals to pickup others. Going to the airport we signed up for the 9AM shuttle which left in a timely manner and went straight to our terminal - which took around 15 minutes with traffic. Hotel: Nothing special here. It’s a 2 star hotel. Room size was good and AC was nice and cool. Quality is what I expected for a 2 star hotel. Continental Breakfast is included: choice of 2 juices, 3 cereals, bananas, coffee, tea and 4 or so different breads. If I had a layover at JFK again I would consider staying there again, although for the price I paid I would have expected more

After I woke up, my neck and waist were very painful, and I couldn't move too much. The mattress in this hotel is too soft for me to sleep. The front desk service attitude of the hotel is not good, the guests arrive early, because of the voice communication problem, the attitude towards the guests is bad when they check in. If you did not inform you to check in in advance, you need to pay an extra day's room rate.

The room was large enough, but had windows but could not be opened. There was a supermarket, a Starbucks and a burger in 15 minutes on foot. I specifically reserved a king room with a walk in shower, which I always do due to a partial disability. I was told none were available upon arrival, and even though one front desk representative personally spoke to a manager, no offer of a change of rooms or any other suitable compensación was offered. This despite a posted sign outside of the elevators that satisfaction was guaranteed. The manager never even spoke to me directly.

The staff was ever so helpful. It was a last minute request and they jumped right in it. The room was clean and well organized. The lobby area was welcoming. I wasn't thrilled with breakfast but it had good staples. Coffee was the main thing for me. Anyway, id choose this location again and again. Thank you.

Hotel breakfast is very simple, but there is a microwave oven, the foreign staff is also very friendly, you can use the microwave oven for free heating and self-service coffee, the disadvantage is that there is no elevator to pull the luggage upstairs, followed by nothing around the decent food, the nearest family Restaurant service level but the food is unpalatable at a price of 30-50 knives per person. There is an Italian supermarket across the road to buy something to eat.
