Hotel Mori No Kaze Nasu

Traveling with my dog. This is the fifth time this year, and the first time we stayed in a Japanese-style room. It was my dog's first time, but he seemed to be able to relax in the Japanese-style room, sniffing around. Every time, we stayed at hotels where we could eat with our dog in the restaurant, but this time, he stayed in the room. We sat at the table at different times to see how he would do, but the staff were considerate and served us the food (autumn creative Japanese cuisine). They were also happy to change the menu from meat to fish. (At one hotel, a certain hotel in Karuizawa Mikage Yosui, we were charged a fee of 2,000 yen for the same change. By the way, no other hotels charged a fee.) The only pet supplies provided were sheets, a dustpan, and a special trash can. There was a bucket set for washing the dog's feet at the entrance to the room, but no towels. I wish they were a little more comprehensive. Although it was a Japanese-style room, the windows were large and the forest outside looked like a borrowed landscape, and when the lights were on, it was fantastic and soothing. The dining area has a relaxed and spacious layout, and the windows overlook the forests of Nasu. We were disappointed that the well-maintained dog run was not available after the rain, so we'll look forward to our next visit... We were very pleased with how they greeted us at the parking lot, the entrance, the service at check-in, and the escort to our room. They also saw us off at the entrance when we left, so we were particularly satisfied with the hotel's intangible aspects. The tangible aspects were also comfortable. This hotel will be our candidate for the next trip with our dog.
