Hotel Coronis

The selling point is the views and central location. In return for amazing views I got a rock hard mattress, tiny shower room with not much room to put anything, a shower hose that won't stay hanging up high for you to stand under, no room safe, a dated decor look, only one spare plug socket that I could find, no kettle, but you cannot fault the stunning views of the harbour and port day and night. When you out the 'DO NOT DISTURB' sign on your room door, housekeeping still proceed to knock and point out that they've 'seen' the sign but decided to ask if you need any housekeeping anyway!!!!!!! Very annoying. You have to leave your key on the reception counter top each time you leave the hotel and just take it again when you come back in. I think these should be hung on a wall behind reception, not just left for any and everyone to pick up someone's key, deliberately or by mistake. Good budget hotel option if you can compromise on the room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Ask for an iron if you need one. Breakfast is available but we didn't buy this as you're surrounded by endless places to eat out. Free wifi. 24hr reception. Good for a short stay.

We made the reservation via phone.Everyone was very friendly even if they could not help us with arranging balloons and birthday cake,what a difficult thing for a hotel!!!!??? The hotel is located exactly at the centre of the port,pretty close to everything.If you are a light sleeper,you better think again in booking it cause during the night there are noises from the clubs,drank people and port noises.We did not mind that. The huge problem was the smell.The plumping system needs to be replaced as soon as possible.When you open the water,you can not stand the smell of the pipes.The renovation at least to the bathrooms is crucial. The room is small and we were three girls charging our phones in turns due to the only one plug!!!!This is just a joke cause how can we use all of our devices?????? The receptionist was not interested to gives us information ,he said he did not know the buses time schedule when the only thing he had to do was to google and print one for his guest.The lady in the poor overall breakfast,was pretty nice and polite thought. The bathroom has mold and small insents that we could tolerate if there was not the smell.THE SMELL!!
