Relaxing in all the senses, top service

We enjoyed a short but sweet 2 night stay at this lovely boutique hotel where owner Panayiotis and manager Maria, ably assisted by their dedicated staff, made us feel most welcome. Opened in 2022 the hotel must rank as one of the best on the island featuring as it did all the advantages of modern design. The breakfast is superb and the location perfect, set back but still only a short walk from the lovely town and gorgeous beaches of Koufonisia. The exquisite pool added to the attraction. If you ever visit the island (which I suggest you do) and you feel like treating yourself then you cannot go wrong at Nysis.

Staying at Nysis Hotel in Koufonisia was an absolutely amazing experience! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the owners and staff who made our stay incredible. Their genuine hospitality and attention to detail set the tone for our entire stay. The hotel itself embodies the essence of quiet luxury, blending modern comfort with traditional Cycladic charm. It offers a serene and refined atmosphere, perfect for those seeking an understated elegance and a peaceful retreat. Our room was beautifully designed, spacious, super comfortable and spotless. The location was also great, within a short walking distance from Chora. The pool area was also amazing and a great place to relax. If you are looking for a hotel that combines comfort, style, and the discreet charm of quiet luxury, Nysis Hotel is the perfect choice. It’s an oasis of calm and sophistication on the beautiful island of Koufonisia. We will definitely be returning.

Quaint, modern family-run hotel within easy (7 min) walk to the main area. The breakfast is very good, and the hotel grounds very pleasant. The quality of the service is among the very best we have encountered in our 15 years of annual trips to the Aegean—everyone is warm, welcoming and doing their utmost to make sure that the experience is optimal. Most enthusiastically recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was spacious, well designed and extremely clean. The pool and bar area were a great place to relax. We’d speak very highly of the staff, particular Matina and Adoni, who went out of their way to be helpful and make us feel welcome. Thank you to them.

A great hotel which is in a quiet location but within easy walking distance of the main town. The bedroom and bathroom were well decorated and had a lovely supply of complementary toiletries. The breakfast was fantastic and delivered to our bedroom at the time of our choice. We were able to have breakfast on our balcony overlooking the sea every morning - just a perfect way to start our day! Stergois was very helpful in recommending local restaurants and providing advice about the key places to visit on the island. The bar and pool area provided a great place to chill out after either a d ay on the beach or for pre dinner drinks. Would certainly recommend this hotel.
