The rooftop terrace breakfast with pyramids view, friendly staff, clean and modern rooms, and convenient pyramids access stand out. However, no disadvantages were mentioned in the reviews.

We stayed as a group of 6 people in 3 rooms. The rooms were neat and clean, and the location was very close to the Giza Pyramids. The rooftop offered a fantastic view of the pyramids. Both staff members, Yusuf and Noor, were very friendly and helpful. The place is budget-friendly. My only recommendation for Solima would be to improve the breakfast by changing the menu daily, as we stayed for 4 days and found it repetitive. Otherwise, the overall experience was excellent Keep to do good Job"

The family room is clean and big, but the outside street environment is not good. The boss is a bit clever, but he can provide the required service after negotiation.

I have stayed with my husband and 2 kids in family room. We had a view on pyramids, the room was clean, staff friendly. Breakfast on the roof was delicious and the view unforgettable. Very close to pyramids entrance, like 3 minutes. Great if you just would like to see pyramids and go forward.

The hotel charged room rate twice, once contacted it said it can only refund the wrong charge by cash if me or one of my friends go directly to Egypt!!!!!!! The view from breakfast terrace is nice, room is old, it's closed to an entrance to pyramids area but the area is not nice an dirty. Maybe good for young backpackers, for other kind of travelers I would suggest to avoid it.

I can't say enough good things about our stay here! First of all, from the roof terrace you will have the best view of the archaeological park of the pyramids in all of Giza! You have practically nothing in front of you and as the crow flies, 200 meters away you have Cheops and the Sphinx! The sunset from here is an experience that is already worth the cost of the stay, which is very honest. The breakfast is super abundant and served with extreme kindness on the terrace. The owner is one of the most honest, helpful and kind people we have met and in Egypt this is not always easy unfortunately. He has always, really always shown himself to be disinterested and he also helped us (more than necessary) in solving a problem with booking after we had already returned home. Few would have helped us, but he answered all our requests. He will put himself at your COMPLETE disposal for everything, but he will never try to cheat you, on the contrary, if possible he will always help you save money and direct you towards the best value for money, without any annoyance or insistence, if you ask he will help you, if not he leaves you alone. The structure is unpretentious, but clean and tidy, there is plenty of hot water and the rooms are large, for what I spent you absolutely can't ask for better here. The main entrance to the pyramids with the ticket office is practically around the corner under the hotel. The new museum is on the opposite side of the pyramids, so if you read that a hotel in this part of Giza is also close to the new museum, already discard the review because it is not possible, if you stay on this side of Giza, which in any case has the best view of the archaeological park you cannot also be close to the museum. In any case, in 5 minutes by taxi (1 euro with Uber) you can also reach the museum and in 4 or 5 euros by taxi (always Uber, but watch out for scams) you can get to Cairo. In the surrounding area there are many restaurants and bars for lunch and dinner, for the rest Giza is not very suitable for walking, you will be fine contemplating the pyramids on the panoramic roofs. It's not easy to find a place like this in Giza, believe me, it took me months to select a place that had honest and truthful reviews, what a struggle! I really recommend Solima!

The only positive note of this hotel is the view of the Pyramids, but there are other hotels in the area with the same feature. The rooms are quite nice, but the building is practically a construction site and it is as if the renovation of the same has not yet been finished. The skirting boards and the plates on the switches are missing. The furniture, even though it is new, already has pieces that are coming off. There were no sheets in the beds, only a mattress cover and a sheet bag. The window frames still have the films. A couple of our friends took a shower and flooded the entire bathroom. There were no towels and toilet paper in the rooms. We went to ask for them but found none. Therefore we opened a closet in the corridor and helped ourselves. There is no elevator and we had to carry our suitcases up to the fourth floor. The next morning they did not clean our room and the excuse was because we did not ask. We ate dinner on a sofa in the living room as there is no dining room. They wanted to make us eat on the terrace when there was a very cold wind. Breakfast was always served on the terrace. We were all cold. Breakfast was only savory with their products, which are fine for lunch, but certainly not in the early morning. They did not give us plates or glasses. Disorganized to the max. The next day, out of desperation we went to eat breakfast in another hotel five minutes walk from them where instead we ate a continental breakfast (sweet and savory) with a spectacular view of the Pyramids. This hotel, on the other hand, was very beautiful. Therefore we strongly advise against this hotel.
