Bratsera Boutique Hotel

A dream hotel a haven to hide oneself away from the hurly burly of the port area, and if you wish to throw yourself into the hurly burly only five minutes away. Beautiful hotel, outstanding staff from Erofili Politi, Paris and Panagiotis at the Front Desk to the restaurant staff which serves a delicious breakfast. It is so refreshing too to awake to the eeaws of donkeys and the crowing of cockerels than the klaxons of cars and to do so in such an idyllic setting even more so. A Utopia!!!

Our 25th anniversary celebration. We returned to Hydra (now our 4th visit!) to stay again in the Bratsera. We spent our honeymoon there in the Virani Suite. We were not disappointed on our 10 day holiday! The staff were terrific and the attention to detail throughout is to be admired. Just to mention a few…Demetri (owner), Ephilios (manager), Paris, Panos, Marisa and Katherine who looked after us so well. Thanks again to the Bratsera for their wonderful hospitality and kindness as well as the great food Paul and Pamela

A lovely small hotel with a laid-back, upscale atmosphere. Built in a former sponge-processing factory, this little gem has a small, stylish pool and a relaxing atmosphere. It is minutes from the ferry - and right in the heart of the town scene. Great staff and amazing breakfasts. Their gluten free offerings were spot-on. Our only downside was a rather small room but it was pretty with a good bed and great shower.

Lovely boutique hotel in a converted sponge factory with a pool and garden and just 5 mins walk from the ferry - with no steps involved. Great breakfast too. Service was very professional and friendly. WiFi not great in the rooms but 4g signal ok.

Hotel is in a great location for all amenities. Reception staff unwelcoming and not informative. I was told to look at availability of amenities on the website. Room was awful. Very dark and dingy furniture. One particular member of staff was very rude Akis at breakfast and around the pool. Always telling you to move your sun lounger - booked this hotel for the pool but it was unwelcoming. Guests put towels on the few sun lounger very early in the morning. We mentioned one morning that all the food in hot section was cold (not kept to temperature) which is a health and safety situation. I asked this to be passed to the manager. He came to see me I thought to discuss but no it was to tell me to push my sun lounger further back. After my complaint Akis made our time at breakfast very uncomfortable. He would not bring our coffee if we asked where something was he just pointed. A very rude insolent individual. I would never stay here again. We love hydra very much and have stayed at other hotels where staff take an interest in you and your day.

An enchanting and amazing place to stay on the beautiful island of Hydra. The rooms are qaint, lovely and old worldy. Fantastic views of the Hydra Port from my room also. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of different options. Great staff, very attentive and helpful.
