We stayed for one night at Pearl Park resort on 17th January 2025. Check In process was delayed over 2 hours. Guests who came in after us were allotted rooms. When we asked the manager, he replied so harshly saying he will decide who gets the room and when. When asked why our check in is delayed, Staff did not even give reasons. Arrogant staff, Front end staff including the manager were very rude to us. After almost two hours of waiting Had to call my tour operator Journey Empires at Port Blair to explain the situation. Finally they interfered, to get our room allotted. Room No. 402, Pool facing rooms were given to us. When we checked in we realised, Western Toilet was broken below and had leakage. This led to extreme sewage stench smells inside the room. We informed the house keeping immediately. They just sprayed room freshener and went. The problem continued even after that. When asked for a room change, the manager refused to even talk to us and denied room change. Rudely replied saying anyways you are going to check out tomorrow, so adjust and stay. Entire night our family had to bear the Toilet smell and couldn't sleep due to the problem. We felt extremely let down due to their attitude. I will never ever recommend this hotel to anyone I took the tour through #JourneyEmpires, Port Blair. I hope both the resort and the tour operator take our feedback in the right note and look into this please.
