Nelson Hotels with Bars

Great location, Staff were lovely, place was dated but tidy. Dinner Restaurant is still closed due to covid. The main reason for the down review is I had booked with a voucher for the first night that included breakfast. I asked for 2 more nights and expected breakfast. When I checked in, I validated it was but when we checked out was told not the case so we paid $69 (2 pax) per day for an avg breakfast that had we known we would have gone elsewhere and paid less. Mgr on duty would not budge or even apologise. Disappointed as I would have rated much higher

Good facilities, convenient parking, warm reception staff

This is one of the best hostels I have stayed in so far in NZ. The staff are great and the atmosphere relaxed. We booked a twin room with ensuite shower. Shower was fabulous, beds v comfy and the room light and airy. There is an awesome courtyard to hang out in - with hammocks! Perfect for relaxing with a beer on a sunny day. The pub does excellent burgers and desserts and the cafe next door serves really good coffee, pastries etc. Would stay here again.

Stayed 2 nights attending a wedding at hotel. This place is humming. Garden bar filled with families, locals and cyclists enjoying Nelson’s cycle ways. Gardens are beautiful and immaculately kept. Bar staff are efficient and friendly. Our room was lovely. Very spacious bedroom and bathroom. Tea, coffee and continental breakfast refreshed daily.

Great location ,very clean and tastefully fitted very friendly and professional staff, also nice to see is a big tv screen very rarely seen at other places we stayed Especially watching a live game of rugby( all blacks beating the boks) Very comfortable beds great linen and pillows we stayed in a twin poolside room with spabath and 2 double beds Highly recommended and at a great rate We looking forward staying here again

Although the room is not big, it is still quite clean. There is a small kitchen where you can buy ingredients to cook. The downside is that the Wi-Fi in the room is really poor, with basically no signal.
