Ah House City B&B Nelson

We stayed for two nights in the garden room. Beatiful bedroom with an extra house with a living room. All the details in the garden were fascinating. Mark and John took great care of us and made us very welcomed in their house for breakfast. My girlfriend want to come back again!

One of the best things about Ah House are the hosts Mark and John. Welcoming, helpful and good fun. Lots of advice and suggestions on places to eat and visit. The b&b is in a quiet spot and it's just a short walk to the centre of Nelson. We stayed in the garden apartment which had views of the cathedral. Spacious with all the amenities you need with the all important comfortable bed and pillows. Mark is a talented Potter and one of his creations now has pride of place in our home. A thoroughly enjoyable stay. Would we stay again? Of course we would! Can't wait to come back!

Fantastic B&B really attentive hosts and brilliant apartment, we stayed in the Garden Apartment and wanted for nothing. Great breakfast all cooked by Mark, with a good selections of goodies to temp you. The house is very close to the city centre with only a few minutes walk, you will find some great restaurants. There was a large selection of leaflets on the local area, but the hosts were a wealth of knowledge and their recommendation on places to eat or visit never failed us. We look forward to visiting again the next time we are in NZ.

These two gentlemen (Mark & John) have created a B & B that “hits on all cylinders”. Their place has a funky cool. They are incredibly helpful with tips and ideas. Breakfast is excellent in a classy dining room. The best restaurants and town shopping is just a stroll away. We booked next year, as well! You won’t be disappointed!

Mark and John are fabulous hosts. We were welcomed on arrival and shown our beautiful room which also had a kitchenette. The room, bathroom and kitchenette were spotless with a super comfy bed. There were plenty of information for the local area waiting for us on the table in the room and Mark was a font of all knowledge. Mark cooked a marvelous breakfast to order with homemade bread. Our only regret was we were only staying one night we could very easily have stayed a few more and explored the area.

Host Mark and John go to great lengths to ensure your stay is excellent. Bright colourful self contained room with high end touches, everything is top notch with breakfast included, my wife and I would highly recommend for your next trip to Nelson.
