The Harvey is truly beautifully decorated and finished throughout. The hallways lounge area and the bedroom in particular were verging on exquisite in the quality of its furnishing and design. Everything was very comfortable. The hotel is also very well located for local restaurants and cafes. Two things to watch out for which were fine but new to us (1) there are no staff on site so everything.is done by room code and (b) there are no lifts (and we were on an upper floor). Neither detracted from our stay but it would have been useful to know when we booked. I wonder if it might be possible to arrange for help with luggage on arrival for those who might otherwise struggle?

Beautiful elegant room!! One does have to carry their luggage up one or 2 flights of steps in this historic recently restored beautiful place to stay. Well worth walking up the stairs. It is self check in which was convenient for us. You are given a code to enter. High end soaps in the huge bathroom. Walking distance to town. We were only able to book for 1 night so book early!
