Perhaps the most beautiful property I have ever visited! The Inn and all the surrounding structures on the farm are clean, warm, and inviting with charming decor throughout. The trails near the creek are amazing and truly bring you peace. Julie and Eric go above and beyond in making you feel relaxed and at home at this gorgeous piece of heaven. Sitting by the bonfire, just outside of their beautiful barn, underneath the stunning trees decorated by soft lights, truly bring visitors a calming feeling. Waking up and taking in all the aromas of breakfast being prepared and then having the joy of enjoying it was amazing! We cannot wait to come back and see it's charm throughout different seasons. Thank you for an amazing little getaway!!!

We had such an amazing, relaxing stay at this beautiful bed and breakfast! The property itself is stunning—peaceful, tucked away, and the perfect little escape from Chicago. It’s easy to get to, but still feels totally secluded in the best way. The location is ideal—you’re super close to great restaurants, wineries, and breweries, but also the lakefront and some incredible hikes. Julie left some great recommendations, and every single one we tried was a hit. We especially loved Warren Dunes and the Galien Riverfront trail. But honestly, what made the stay so special was Julie and Eric. They’re such kind, welcoming hosts, and their hospitality was above and beyond. And the breakfasts… truly elite. We’re still thinking about them! Highly recommend coming out for a long weekend. We left feeling so refreshed and already want to plan our next trip back.

Goldberry woods is absolute perfection. We rented the rivers edge cottage for my mom’s 60th birthday celebration and it was perfect. The cottage was very clean and fit all of us comfortably. The staff was easy to get a hold of. Their breakfast is to die for. We had a lot of dietary preferences in our group and they accommodate every single one. We also did a yoga session with Ferris. Highly recommend. She is so sweet and very knowledgeable. We had all levels and ages and she was able to show modifications for every pose. I hope to come back this summer and stay in one of the rooms at the inn. Seriously I cannot recommend this place enough. What a gem.

This was our second time at Goldberry Woods and our stay did not disappoint! Our multi-generational family (including a toddler) stayed at the Creekside Cottage and it served as the perfect home base as we visited Indiana Dunes NP, South Bend, and a few other nearby small towns (New Buffalo, Three Oaks, etc). We loved the heated pool and our toddler loved saying hi to the chickens, ducks, and quails, and playing on the play structure. Can't wait to come back to Goldberry Woods in the future - hopefully in the summer so we can see the farm in full force!

Visited to surprise my significant other for his 30th Bday by doing something different. Ways I'd describe Goldberry Woods. What down to earth feels like! Magical gem...comfort...great food (accommodated request for dairy free/no meat) & lovely little touches throughout. Warm n cozy. Offers rec area in barn w a great speaker to connect Bluetooth. Has enclosed pool w hot tub..games..books..DVDs..puzzles..animals..grounds to explore..cozy rooms w jetted tub...laid back, Great/Fun vibe. I appreciated hearing others still up having fun even as it got later. The aroma of fresh made breakfast was pleasant to wake up to. The owners are quick to respond, check in w their guests & SO friendly &. I fell in love w this place. I will definitely visit again, over & over. It's a great little getaway.

Great stay! Will be returning! Had a great breakfast and fun swimming in the pool and looking at the chickens and ducks with my daughter! Was quiet and peaceful. Had fun just relaxing and exploring the local area. Very easy check in and check out.

Goldberry Woods is a truly spectacular property! The owners are outstanding hosts who make you feel right at home. I thoroughly enjoyed all the amenities during my stay. The room was beautiful and unique, with charming details that added to the experience. One of my favorite moments was sitting by the fireplace with a glass of wine, it was so relaxing. Before bed, I indulged in a soothing soak in the tub, which was the perfect way to relax. The next morning, a took a peaceful walk along the trail to the river, soaking in the beauty of nature. While a returned, I was treated to a delicious breakfast that was simply delicious. I also made sure to take full advantage of the heated pool and the hot tub, which added the perfect touch to an already amazing winter escape. Everything about my stay was excellent. It was such a cozy and delightful getaway. I can't wait to return!!

I needed a solo trip to collect my thoughts before a busy semester started, filled with writing, teaching, and other projects. Goldberry Woods provided a perfect setting, in one of the cabins. It was lovely, peaceful, safe, and inspiring!
