We thought this was a 5* property. The price you pay far exceeds the service, food, drinks, experiences you receive. This is our first time to a Sandals and sadly it will our last. The resort itself is a 3 star and I was hoping with great food and service it would be upgraded to a 4 or even 5 star. Sadly that was not the case. The food was average at best. Sometimes even not even edible. There is little to no fresh fruits and or local cuisine. The service is 1* as we didn’t find any of the staff to be friendly…it felt like they were just going through the motions and sometimes downright rude. The drinks were horrible as well … the bartenders had no idea what they were doing nor did they even care. I felt like I had to beg for a drink and getting anything top shelf was nearly impossible. We were told Tito’s is an up charge. Lol. Tito’s. . I honestly feel like all the other reviews are fake or they have never been to a quality all inclusive resort. After 4 nights of sleepless nights due to the thumping we heard until 1 am each night we requested a quieter room. At first we were told no they couldn’t move us and we decided to leave the next day. Magically they were able to accommodate the move and we decided to stay however the stay really didn’t get much better. The beach is really not swimmable as there is sea grass so we just hung by the pool each day to hear the same play list and crappy service each day. Save your money …go to another all inclusive where they actually want your business. You have been warned. Here are some pics of the stained carpet, the outdated room, the “premium” liquor.

Sandals South Coast did not disappoint! The resort and grounds were AMAZING, the grounds keepers were on-point, it was amazing! Room and view were excellent. Our butlers Shamar and Jamoy were GREAT we would suggest them! Also have to give a shout out to our friends butlers Ricardo and Clive (woo hoo Clive ) they were also GREAT! We had a beach cabana and it was wonderful our cabana butler was Maxine and GIRL was on FIRE, we LOVED Maxine and wish her the best with her upcoming baby ❤️! Entertainment was phenomenal and the singers and dancers were so good! Want to give a special shout out to Shavia (aka Barbie) and Khaj they were so wonderful, fun and entertaining! Lastly the people who kept us full and happy… Kevin aka the Omelet King at the buffet, he not only cooked an amazing breakfast he came out chatted with guests and truly made us feel at home! Rose at Neptunes took care of us during dinner and did not disappoint, she was so attentive and sweet and just down right genuine! On a rather sour note the bartenders at this resort (pool bars, neptunes, martini bar ALL of them) were the worst we have experienced in almost 20 years of sandals vacations. We did not let this discourage our fun or vacation but thought it was significant enough to note.. Lastly, Shamar our bus driver on the way to airport from SSC was the BOMB! He did an amazing job! There were a ton of others who made this an unforgettable vacation even whilst facing Hurricane Melissa! We would highly recommend this resort!

We had the most amazing honeymoon stay here. It was our first time in Jamaica and at a Sandals resort and it will surely not be our last!! We cannot wait to come back to Sandals SouthCoast All of the staff members at the resort were so thorough in making our stay luxurious, relaxing, stress free, and most importantly FUN! My husband Luke and i want to give a special shoutout to our bartender and now friend, Monisha. We met Monisha at the Latitudes bar and was won over originally by her service and then was kind enough to get to know us, which made our stay feel like home. She was so sweet, and personable. We looked for her smiling face everyday this past week and it warmed our hearts to see her waving hello and checking in with us around the resort. It was honestly sad to say bye! As well as Dickardo, he made our stay so much fun. Amazing service and the best drinks! But not only that, he took the time to chat with us during his down time and it was so nice getting to know him and laugh with him. Our brother from another mother ❤️ Shoutout to Damone, Sean, and Kenny for their amazing service and dedication to making our stay so fun and memorable! By day 2 of our 7 nights we were walking around feeling at home! We thank our servers, hosts, and chefs for making our dining experience out of this world!! Felt like royalty each restaurant we went to. We booked a couples massage and Amoy and Crystal were so amazing. Our whole experience at Red Lane Spa was so relaxing and a state of Zen. Special shoutout to our housekeepers, she was the sweetest soul and our room remained spotless, smelling fresh, our fridge stocked, and always had clean towels! I had a great time and I want to go back but will keep it real! While the entertainment at this location was satisfactory, my comparative experience with entertainment at Ochi in 2024, was better. My dining experience varied. The candlelight dinner, for which I paid an additional fee, was excellent; however, I believe the same level of attention should be extended to all meals. During my stay, I encountered several instances of overcooked seafood, including three lobsters and fish that were notably overdone. Conversely, my husband enjoyed well-prepared salmon and two exceptional steaks. Overall, the quality appeared inconsistent and seemed to depend on the specific restaurant selected. The air conditioner in my room was not functioning properly and required repairs. I also learned from other guests that they experienced similar issues. Guests have paid premium rates and are entitled to a comfortable experience free of inconvenience. Regular updates should be made to ensure guest satisfaction. I thoroughly enjoyed the bicycles. I just wish there were more of them. The water sports available were awesome. Overall, my stay was VERY enjoyable. The staff provided exceptional service which greatly contributed to the quality of my stay, particularly my butlers, Recardo and Clive. They truly Leveled up my vacation experience. Jovan who worked in Bayside's smiling face and joyful spirit was always a great start to my day. Tenelle provided prompt, courteous, and efficient assistance in arranging my booking for another trip next year without being pushy, and Kerome from guest services ensured that all my needs were met and I had a smile on my face before my departure. Just go!!!! I think you'll love it.

Love this resort! The Staff really make this an enjoyable, wonderful vacation. The grounds are beautifully kept and we have booked to come again next year, which will be our 3rd stay here. Our butlers, Davion and Lavardo, made our stay easy, fun and relaxing. My husband's dive instructor, Byron Gordon, was amazing and he can't wait to dive again next year! We enjoyed every restaurant and the beach servers keep the drinks coming. The bartenders are entertaining and talented. Unfortunately, my husband had to use the medical facility onsite and Nurse Henry was professional and caring. Overall, this has become our favorite Sandals location.

The people were great. Manager Alicia was perfect. Oral a cook at Jasmines was great and made me a special spicy plate!!! Roderick the bartender was fun and very good. Dance and water aerobics instructors were funny and nice.
