Inn at Pleasant Lake

The property was very well kept and in a beautiful location. The staff was extremely welcoming and made my wife and me feel right at home!! The Oak had amazing food and the breakfast was fantastic. The room was cozy as well and the common areas were a bonus.

My wife and I had an absolutely delightful, fun, relaxing 4-night getaway to this charming inn located in such a beautiful scenic spot. The innkeeper, Justin and all the staff spoiled us with their warm genuine hospitality, friendliness and many acts of kindness to ensure our enjoyment of the inn and the surrounding area. Our room was very clean, tasteful furnishings. The bed was very comfy, nice sitting area, clean large bathroom. The included breakfast each morning was delicious; and nice that hot items can be customized to our requests. The breakfast area and views out the windows are wonderful. The common living room with fireplace was warm, comfortable and very relaxing to sit, talk, read, play games, sip tea or a drink. Nice décor, too. There are nice places to walk or hike right from the inn. The New London town center with several good restaurants and shops is a short drive from the inn. We enjoyed a weekday downhill skiing at Mount Sunapee, which was great. Another day we had a delightful experience x-country skiing at Pine Hill Ski Club in New London. Our last day we played pickleball at an indoor gym at Sawyer-Colby College during public play (we brought our paddles with us). This was our second time visiting The Inn at Pleasant Lake, both during the winter. These have been great visits. Perhaps we will experience the inn during the warm weather at a future visit, although we really enjoyed our wintertime visits. Thank you so much, Justin and Team! We look forward to our next visit.

Had a wonderful night in this historic inn! The room was quite large and very nicely done, staff were super and a great location. One of the highlights was hanging out from 5 to 7 PM for cocktails in the lounge area with the fireplace on and a guitarist/singer for entertainment prior to dinner. Great spot I would highly recommend it for someone looking for a getaway.. dinner in the Oak room was excellent and lived up to its reputation!

We had New Years Eve dinner at the Inn at Pleasant Lake and stayed the night. The meal, room, and service was exceptional. We had breakfast the next morning and the service was also great. Would highly recommend the inn for a wonderful weekend getaway.

Have stayed here many times and it never disappoints. Very quiet, cozy, and comfortable. The staff is more than hospitable. Lisa is always more than pleasurable and upbeat. Love the close proximity of driving into town but far enough away to be secluded.

Absolutely beautiful, antique inn. The dining room breakfast and dinner were beyond fabulous. We had a gorgeous 2 room suite overlooking the lake and Mt Kearsage. The bed was very comfortable and sheets very nice. The gathering areas have plenty of room and warmth with the fireplace. Again, beautiful views of the lake and mountain. Lots of board games to play by the fire. We'd love to go back during the summer season especially with the lake being so pristine and crystal clear. I'd go back now if I could! Justin was so friendly and helpful. Our waitress was a doll! Thanks for a great stay!
