Nice enough people but accomodation was of a very low standard and needed a steam clean as the whole place had very strong food odours. We didn’t end up staying, it was that bad.

Good hostel. I stayed there for a week. It’s like a family gite. The owner, Brett, is very kind and accomodating. The hostel has a good place in New Plymouth. We don’t have beds’ curtains. But finally it’s not too annoying (maybe because I was with good people). I really recommend this hostel.

Owner is such a great guy and the beds were great. Also had a sauna which I didn’t use but loved the idea of it. Had everything you could ask for.

Located on a quieter side of town, but easily walkable (less than 5 min) to busier streets in CBD. Private twin room was comfortable and shared toilets were spacious! Room can get quite cold at night during late autumn. There was a heater but we didn't use it and survived with the thick duvets. Very cozy common area with a fireplace (!). Staff was friendly and helpful even though we checked in late at night.

Brett is an absolute legend. Really looked after me absolute lifesaver. 💯 The decor is stylish and it has a real homely feel. The location is second to none! Close to all shops, eateries and restaurants. Close to the park as well as the foreshore and beach.
