Stayed 3N2D. Got no heater in the room. It was cold at night during the winter. Got tub and water heater which is good. Toiletries are given when asked. The room space is quite big for a solo person but enough to get around and sleep.

Shanger hotel is very near to Sanchong MRT station and in Sanchong Airport MRT station. The walking time from the hotel to the MRT station is just 10 minutes to 15 minutes. The hotel staff are very approachable.

It’s a fine hotel. It was comfortable, the AC was nice and cool and the water stations are convenient for cold water. The staff were also friendly to help. Just a little disappointed that there is no toothbrush or toothpaste and I had to buy my own. I think for the price all these little toiletries should be included.

I returned to this exact hotel room one year later. The fire alarm still goes off from the steam coming off the hot shower, but you have a bathtub and great water pressure. The deluxe room puts facing a drab courtyard but you get a glass tiled pillar in your room. The cheaper rooms will face the street. Still feels like a place from the 1970s. Still recommended for solo trips. Cheap.

Awesome classic hotel in Taipei. I love its classic vibe. The only downside is they don't have couches or sofas in the lobby.

Hotel situated in Sanchong district with good access and proximity to buses and trains heading downtown! With bathtub and comfy bed too :)
