Beautiful location on the top of the hill next to the old mines. Clean and convenient, big room. Common areas to spend time with other guests or the friendly host. ;) Better to come by car. They have a charger too. Yummy home made brekkie.

I booked another hotel twice online, but said that there is no room, but thanks to Trip’s customer service for calling quickly, the good service handled the matter and made up for the hotel’s management mistakes. Let me rebook to the beautiful palace, the staff at the counter have a good attitude, the room type ordered is clean and comfortable to use.

Ruifang is the best base if you want to visit Jiufen and JinGuaShi by bus and Shifen, Houtong and Pingxi by train. Do note the minshu (hostal) provides clean and basic facilities and is suitable for families and solo travellers. Walls are a little thin but Joe ensures he spaces out the guests whether he can. He is extremely helpful with tips on food & places of interest.

The homestay is very good, the rooms are elegant and warm, clean and tidy. The hostess Xiaofen received a warm reception, introduced in detail the attractions and places to play, and made breakfast in person. The breakfast was good and the tea was very delicious. The room is relatively large, and three people can be accommodated when the sofa is released. Contact the store in advance and drive to the train station to pick us up. The homestay also has an observation deck. You can enjoy the panoramic view of Jiufen from a seat. Unfortunately, you can't stay a few more days to visit Jiufen, leaving you with regret. I will book this homestay next time I go to Jiufen and get together with Xiaofen.

The environment is clean and tidy; the location is convenient. There is a 7-11 nearby. It is located on Pingxi Street. It is easy to park at the white lines on the roadside nearby. It only takes 2 minutes to walk to the B&B. We arrived late and the boss even waited for us to arrive. , introduced us to some in-depth scenic spots in Pingxi, but unfortunately the weather was not good, and it rained intermittently the next day, so we were unable to visit the scenic spots suggested by the boss; this time we were lucky enough to book the [Xiyu Room], which can be enjoyed up close on the balcony outside the room. Watching the trains passing by also satisfies the children’s railway fans’ wishes.

I was surprised at the size of the room. there were two king beds, and low table and sofa. it was too big to make use of that nice facility, but still comfortable. The problem was the staff not being able to speak any English, but still they try to communicate. The sandwich they made for complimentary Breakfast was yummy. I would even pay for that.
