Hotels in Tamsui Fisherman'S Wharf, New Taipei City

This hotel truly embodies the local natural and cultural landscape, offering an enriching and educational experience. Its location is superb: directly opposite, you'll find a Pxmart supermarket and a Youbike station, which is incredibly convenient. There are also plenty of casual eateries and convenience stores nearby. Plus, both Fisherman's Wharf and the Tamsui Light Rail Station are just a short distance away.

The service is good, the location is good, the breakfast is average, the price is reasonable, but the hotel is a little old, the washing machine is free to use, overall I am very satisfied

I booked two rooms and requested to be in high floors and one next to the other and i also requested view to the ocean. I got the rooms in the 9th floor (of ten) and the rooms were one next to the other, and the view we had in our rooms were just mind blowing, the sunsets was just priceless. Something to note is that some paid amenities/services offered by the hotel are really expensive, way much more than the average standard. For example the hotel rents out bicycles and the price is just super high, and as a hotel guest you get a small discount, but still feel super overpriced, rooms are not cheap and i feel the bicycles should be free for guests. Other paid amenities like kids playground, are also very expensive compared to other places with similar playgrounds. The hotel has one kids playroom which is for free, but is very simple compared to the one that is paid. Also need to note that next to the beds, there is not household plug, but rather two USB plugs. It is good idea, but the problem is that nowadays much phones comes with USB-C cable (on both ends), but the plug offered by the hotel is USB-A so i had to charge my phone and tablet in the bathroom, as i only had USB-C cables on both ends.

The room was spacious, and the breakfast was abundant and delicious. Instant noodles are available in the lobby for guests to prepare. There's a convenience store right downstairs, making it incredibly convenient for any shopping needs. Furthermore, Shalun Night Market and Fisherman's Wharf are both within walking distance.

Tamsui Fisherman’s Wharf has a panoramic view of the Lover’s Wharf. It is super convenient for eating, drinking, and having fun close to Tamsui Old Street. The planned area is complete and there are performing arts team activities. It feels like being abroad.

This was my second stay at this hotel, and I chose it again because of its excellent amenities and thoughtful design. The room is beautifully decorated in calming green tones, and the layout is ideal for two or three guests. I especially appreciated the separate wet and dry toilet areas, as well as the divided bathroom and shower-very convenient for sharing. Guests can also enjoy complimentary movies, and the bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. I had a great night's sleep and would gladly return.

The hotel is great, very clean, the staff are very nice. I stayed at the suite which was a very big room and had a great view. The lounge was ok but I prefer less unhealthy snacks and more fruits/ healthy stuff in it. The pool was not heated and it was a bit cold. Also the last night my room had noises all night long. Like metal to metal noises which cause me not to sleep all night long. The staff were nice but didn’t really compensate for this horrible night I had no sleep at all besides promising to a late check out or upgrade next time I book. Which is more of a promotion than a real compensation. Too bad that left a bit a bitter taste to a nice stay so far. I’m in Taipei once or twice a year and I wish they were more attentive to my complaint and lack of sleep.

A great hotel that is quite central and within walking distance of the high speed train, city buses, and metro. The room is spacious and clean. View from the top floor (31st floor) was amazing! The downside is that they don’t provide basic amenities such as a toothbrush or toothpaste. You have to pay for them upon request. A well known chain like Hilton should consider offering these basic necessities, such as a toothbrush set and razors, in room upon request. I have never encountered a hotel that charges for these amenities before. That was the only downside to this hotel.

The soundproofing isn't great. Someone on the same floor was making incredibly loud, train-horn-like noises. I was tempted to play some music outside their door in retaliation, but my husband talked me out of it (what a shame!). If you're traveling with kids, just keep this in mind, though hopefully you won't encounter it! 😉 There are parking spaces right outside, which is quite convenient. If those are full, there are also parking lots nearby. Dining options are also handy; McDonald's and drink shops are just a five-minute walk away, and there's a breakfast place very close by too. I'd definitely consider staying here again. 🙂

The front desk staff was very polite and the service was good. The room has an independent air conditioner and you can set the temperature freely. There is also a heater in the bathroom. The equipment is not bad, but the room has a strong smell of shop smell that cannot be dissipated until check-out. The door of the room The automatic door closing force of the bow machine is too strong. You can feel the sound and vibration of other rooms on the same floor closing one after another in the room. The location is just between Fuzhong Station and Banqiao Station. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to get there. Transportation convenient.
