The environment is good, the transportation is convenient, just on the edge of the New York University School Building, 100 meters away. Very convenient.

I made a reservation online for 4 days, and on the 4th day I went to the hotel front desk to renew for 2 more days for a total of 6 nights (renewal on site was very expensive, official website price). During this period, I changed rooms once because the room I got for the first time was too low and had no view.
The facilities are rudimentary, and there are no slippers and pajamas. Not to mention that many American hotels don’t have them. The ambient light under the bed in the second room was broken. The wardrobe door was deformed and could not be closed. When the right cabinet door was opened, it would hit the bulge on the top. The air outlet can only be opened to about 60 degrees and cannot be fully opened. The faucet is obviously too short and difficult to use. These are all errors in design and construction, which are outrageous.
One night at 1:30 in the morning, the fire alarm in the room announced that there was a fire. After broadcasting it four times, we all planned to run away. Then the broadcast said it was okay. The alarm buzzer and the loudspeaker were loud. The white girl next door said that she immediately went to find a job. Personnel but no one, outrageous.
The staff are very good-looking.
The design of the hotel space is very good. As we all know, there is no design in the United States, so we come here just for the sense of design. The experience is average. If I go to New York again, I will not come back.

Because of the UN meeting, accommodation in the Isle of Man in New York is too expensive.
I searched for this hotel on a redbook. When I first arrived at the door, I thought it was a dirty and messy street, but it was actually a very clean, smart and comfortable hotel. It is an 8-minute walk from the main shopping street of sohh, and takeout can also be delivered. Breakfast is served with a cup of coffee and a bread (optional type). Croissants and chocolate croissants are recommended. They are very delicious and can be heated by the staff.
I stayed for a total of 7 days. It was clean and hygienic. The bed was very comfortable, soft and refreshing. The room was also equipped with a Bluetooth speaker.
Before booking, check the room type and cleaning service in advance, and choose according to your needs. There are also family rooms.
It is really a treasure hotel, highly recommended.

In Manhattan, it is a good value for money accommodation, the house is old but clean, the room and the bed are small, but the bathroom and kitchen are fully equipped, and the large refrigerator is very convenient for cooking and ice Haagen-Dazs. The traffic is very convenient. 5 minutes to the south, there is the Grand St station of the subway BD缐. The exit is the seafood stall and fruit shop of the Chinese street market. It is not wrong to follow the smell. Go to the southeast of JFK for 3 minutes. It is very convenient to change the Airtran to Jamaica. Since Manhattan has not seen the air conditioner of the outdoor unit, it is necessary to pay attention to the air conditioner in the room will be louder. It is recommended to open the air in the daytime, and it is better to sleep before changing to the air.

Staying at the Paraount New York on Broadway offered a delightful experience. The hotel's prime location provided easy access to Broadway shows and Times Square. The rooms, while compact, were impeccably clean and well-appointed. Service was attentive and professional, ensuring a comfortable stay. The historic charm of the building added a unique touch to our visit. Highly recommended for travelers seeking a blend of convenience and character.

Excellent
KKitrynThis hotel is immaculate and absolutely everybody is above and beyond pleasant. Though not directly affiliated with the hotel, Inexpensive, super clean and very easily accessible parking is a two minute walk away at 25 Kent St. We paid $64 for 2 1/2 days of parking. The room was incredible. Exposed brick walls with super high ceilings, the bathroom had a huge tub and a wonderful shower. Pro tip: if traveling with someone that you do not want to see you naked, understand that it is not a one-way mirror over the bar and you absolutely CAN see into the shower While someone is showering. Luckily I was with my daughter, so this was not a real issue. The restaurant within the hotel and the Ramen place directly next-door are both wonderful. I did not make it to the rooftop bar this time but since I absolutely will stay at this hotel every time I come to visit I will check it out next time! The room was extremely quiet, temperature was easy to control. Now, a little too much honesty, I am an extremely “sensitive” person, and resting and hearing so much from the second I stepped into this hotel. I was never scared, as I definitely don’t typically get scared, but I had numerous very genuine and very obvious things happen while I say that this hotel, such as seeing things walk across the hall in both my room and the hallway, in the main lobby bathroom someone walked into the bathroom and into the stall next to me, but never left, and when I looked, there was no one there, and I was in the shower. I could hear several men talking to each other as if they were right next to me. I was definitely not hearing people from another room. I also heard the door to the stair well open, which is right next to our room and I was right next to the door so when I looked, there was nobody there and I pulled it shut again. Just out of curiosity, as to what was there prior to the hotel, on the way home my daughter looked up the history to the hotel. Let’s just say it was very enlightening as to why i was experiencing so much activity in this hotel, especially on the third floor next to what I will assume would have been a fire escape at some point. It also may explain why the first thing that went through my mind when I opened the front door of the hotel and turned to my daughter and said “I’m surprised the hotel gets away with door opening inward. It goes against fire code. Anyway, You can look up the history yourself and understand all that I have said. :-) either way, a spectacular hotel at a decent price and a very safe and beautiful part of the city. I will definitely stay here again!
JJanine7AMAZING value for money. The staff is super friendly and the guests are very international and social. The hostel offered lots of free activities every day. I was amazed by their sightseeing tours, yoga or karaoke. Amazing company and offering!
BBINBINExcept for an extra charge of $ 49 per person per day of the resort fee, this is not acceptable, and I hope to cancel it.
Good location, same building with park central. Manhattan club
Newly renovated, but the toilet and bathroom in the room are too small, only half the size of the Manhattan club
Breakfast was generous and dinner was negligible,
Opposite diagonally is Carnegie Hall, the subway station is right out, walk 10 minutes to times square 5 minutes to central park
15 minutes by subway to Wall Street,
If you can cancel the resort fee. I will book this hotel every time I go
Otherwise, I would still choose Manhattan club
GGuest UserOverall it's good. It's especially convenient for people who are going to fly to LaGuardia Airport. The subway next to it is not too far away. Because it is in uptown, people who want to live in Manhattan don't have to consider it. The overall hardware and software are good.
AAnton26Great location….but that’s what you’re paying for.
Check in was fast and the staff were welcoming and friendly. There are umbrellas to use in the rainy weather and the front concierge staff are happy and greet you nicely.
The location is convenient- close to all main sites of NYC but just far away enough from the noise and bustle so you can have a peaceful night’s sleep. Air conditioning can be adjusted as our room got a little too cool for our comfort.
The luxury king room high floor itself is disappointing. Quite a bit more in cost compared to a standard king room, the room doesn’t have any fabulous views or even a bathtub that can accommodate someone comfortably. One website advertises the luxury king rooms have a ‘spa bath’. This is fact is not true and incorrect. Room slippers are very nice and there are enough towels for 2 people.
Pillows are too soft and the room furniture is tired-looking. Some peeling wallpaper as well indicating the need for a refit.
For the money, there’s no breakfast either and if you wish to extend your checkout after 11am, it’s $100 for 1-3 hours. A bit rich, considering you’re better off getting a lounge pass at the airport or simply go for a walk around this amazing city. To compensate, there’s an awesome diner 50m from the hotel that serves fantastic breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Bathroom products are lovely- Balmain and there’s only 1 bathrobe in the room, which I thought was strange, considering the booking was for 2 people. No minibar either… why is this?!
I would stay again simply because of the location but I would not pay for the luxury king room high floor again, as it’s not worth the money. Keep the location but take a standard room.
GGuest UserLocation was superb, next to the main subway station. The concierge staff was very friendly. They need to check that you're a guest before you can walk in to the hotel - this is probably because their lift does not enable guest only access to each floor - you do not need a card to go up to any floor. They charge a $39.99 destination fee and give you a $15 market value to buy food everyday.. (500ml water for $7.5, plain bagel for $5, ham and cheese bagel for $18...) They charge $4/bag for baggage storage after you check out.. Other than these 'small' charges, everything else is good.
MmelI really like the Sheraton Hotel, this place is really very satisfying, highly recommend for a relaxing holiday, the service is quite good and friendly and very clean, and complete equipment will not disappoint
GGuest UserThe room we stayed in for the first two days was small, on a low floor, and had only one window facing the patio, so the room was not well lit. The order was changed to the 12th floor for the next seven days. The room was also larger and had windows on both walls. After opening the curtains, we could directly see the street view of W 71st Street and the view of Midtown, which felt good.
The loud sound of the air conditioner was the only unacceptable problem, but this is a problem that many two- and three-star hotels in New York have, so we can only tolerate it.
The quality of service varies from person to person. Some front desk staff are friendly and some have average service attitudes. There is not someone to clean every day. I cleaned it myself in the first few days. Later, I found that the sink was blocked. I called the front desk and someone was sent to fix it. In the following days, someone came to clean it continuously, so it is also important to make requests. Most of the service staff are of South American descent and speak Spanish. They may not be good at English, so communication is a bit difficult.
The hotel is in a prime location, close to Central Park and the 72nd Street subway station, with convenient transportation. It is a quiet place in the bustling Upper West Side of Manhattan. It is highly recommended in terms of cost performance.
Attached is the street view taken from a room on the 12th floor of the hotel and the hotel front taken from W72 Street.
JJuliane ThiemThe hostel is well located but keep in mind that this is just a basic hostel, nothing fancy. We stayed three nights, wouldn’t have stayed any longer tbh. The rooms were clean, so as the bathrooms but what we didn’t like was the volume in the hostel. Nobody was particularly loud but the doors of the rooms and bathrooms close extremely loudly that you will wake up from that in the middle of the night. Ear plugs are a necessity. Also the staff at the front desk was not very friendly especially the staff for the luggage drop off, keep in mind that you have to pay for the drop off, which I found quite rude and expensive. Wouldn’t stay here again but for a short cheap stay it is totally fine
AAshley NicoleThe hotel is in an excellent location. It’s very easy to get around by walking or hopping on the metro. The hotel staff were very kind and helpful, but the hotel itself is in need of renovations (as other reviews have stated). If the hotel were to make those renovations I would stay again.
