Ticked All Our Boxes Quality Quiet No Gyms No Treatments No Hassle All Staff Exceptional Waiter Not Only Remembered you had wine left over from the previous night but also remembered what it was called Room 1 was Superb Comfortable and Lashings of Hot Water for bathing and showering Braver, more peripheral Choices on the dinner menu where rewarded with some superb flavour as opposed to the more traditional choices Breakfasts where as good and well cooked and presented as anywhere we have been Breakfast in Library Dinner in Other Restaurant (Your Choice) Tea / Coffee & Cakes Inc in afternoon if you wanted them We booked for next year already

Recently paid a return visit to Wrea Head Hall after our first overnight stay in December to celebrate a birthday. This time we took advantage of a special offer and stayed for two nights on a DBB basis. We reserved the same room as our first visit - room 43 in the Carriage House - as we liked the room so much. Once again we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. One of the highlights of this hotel is the staff. Many of them are young, but they have been very well trained. They are professional and friendly. We would like to mention Josh in particular, who handled a small problem with dinner on our second night in a very competent and helpful way. Wrea Head Hall is a lovely hotel that gives good value for money and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

My wife and I had stayed at the Wrea Head a few years ago, on a two night break. This time we were meeting two friends, and as the hotel was booked by me, we were hoping that the standards would be as good. We need not have worried. This hotel sets itself very high standards from entering, to leaving. Our rooms were impeccably clean, and our bed very comfortable. The menu for dinner was varied, beautifully prepared and presented, as was breakfast. The staff in this hotel are obviously well trained, smartly dressed, and interacted well with guests. I must mention Josh in particular, he is a credit to the hotel, with his professionalism, and calmness. Wrea Head Hall is a fabulous building in immaculate order with lots of original timber features. The grounds are a picture, beautifully kept, and incredibly tranquil. It was impossible to fault this hotel, food and staff, and we look forward to going back. I know our friends enjoyed their stay as much as my wife and I did.

Fantastic two night stay. We stayed in the Carriage House and the room was beautiful. The thing that sets this hotel apart though is the quality of the food which is beautifully presented, tasty and plentiful. Also the staff are lovely. Our first visit but it won't be our last. Thank you.

Lovely one night stay, as usual we thoroughly enjoyed our stay the hotel was fully booked very busy, the young staff did an amazing job very efficient and professional. I big shout out for josh what a lovely lad he is a true star so good at his job. Stayed in one of the smaller rooms this time was very comfy and spotlessly clean. The food never disappoints we loved all three courses, can't wait to return

Just returned from our fifth visit to this splendid hotel. As always, everything was spot on. The staff are always well turned out, polite, attentive and hard working. Food was absolutely delicious, and our room was clean and cosy. What's not to like? Love the place.

We booked the 2 nights dinner b&b package for our wedding anniversary & have to say everything about it was excellent. We stayed in room 42 the (French room) in the Carriage House a short distance from the main hotel. The staff were all very friendly & efficient with a special mention for the younger staff who were exceptional. Our room was spacious, very clean, with a large, very comfortable bed. The dinner and breakfast menus had plenty of choice & everything was cooked to perfection. Thank you for a wonderful weekend and we will return.

Another great time was had at Wrea Head. This time hubby and I came with family. My two sisters and their hubbies. Everyone had a very lovely time, and we all thought the food was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their particular room. The staff are ALL a delight, nothing is too much trouble for them. This hotel has got everything right, from great rooms to delicious food cooked by excellent chefs. Thank you all, we will return very soon. x
