Clean , comfy and secure. Considering it's location it is quiet. Friendly staff , good food in restaurant. All round great value for money. Beds & pillows , bedding all great 10/10 for value. Second time in 3 months we have stayed her , a ground floor room & first floor both good rooms & a positive experience each time.

Very poor, very slow Wi-Fi connection, I had to connect to my iPhone just to get a signal to check my emails. The reception gentleman, even though I was young was very rude and could not be bothered giving us the correct information or even given us two key cards which we should’ve had as one was needed for the electricity in the room. There was only one pillow each, For us we had to request another one. There was no milk cartons in the tea and coffee facilities and had to go on request some of them. Obviously the room had not been checked correctly. It was rubbish left under the bed as well. I would not recommend this hotel as a service on the presentation of the hotel was very poor for a Premier Inn.

Fast and easy check in ,with very polite staff . The room was very clean and spacious. It has all you need for your stay . Tea and coffee which is in your room , and you can get more from reception when you have used your two teabags supplied. The bed was comfy, but I didn't find the pillows that good . Normally the pillows are great in Premier inn. There are plenty of lighting options for your room , and lots of sockets to plug your devices in . The bathroom was a good size and modern. The shower was powerful and HOT , which is always nice . And you can adjust the shower ,so that good point for me being small . There are washing gels supplied ,but you can always take your own . There was a bit of the beading coming of the door of the shower . But apart from that it was all good . Lots of free parking and not far from Newport

We booked a meal deal with reception, but this was cancelled due to a power cut in the evening. A refund for a cancelled meal, due to a power cut in the restaurant was processed but my bank account has mysteriously been hit with a £323.86 payment which I did not authorise. I am currently reporting this as a fraudulent transaction to my bank. This has also created additional costs in the way of several phone calls and printing/photocopying of statements and invoices. The Premier Inn Customer Relations department is only open Monday to Friday so I have been in limbo over a weekend until Monday 24 Feb when I will restate this sorry episode. In the meantime, I am still deficient of a substantial amount of money. TOTALLY AND ABSOLUTELY DISSATISFIED WITH THIS PISS POOR LEVEL OF SERVICE I want this resolved asap

To be fair the Beds/bedding are very comfortable. However there were problems in the bathroom- toilet seat not secure when used and large crack in sink which should have been spotted by staff. TV’s are very small in this Premier Inn’s compared to other ones. Room basic and tea/coffee making facilities were lacking. Couldn’t log onto the wi-fi, kept losing connection. Had breakfast and dinner twice at the Beefeater there. The cooked breakfast is v good and there’s a wide range of choice. Yet again the breakfast experience is marred by the toasters. At every premier inn we’ve stayed at, the toasters supplied are so slow! You are waiting 5 minutes for adequately toasted bread which causes a queue at busy periods. It really can’t be that difficult for premier inn to address this and supply better toasters! Dinners were ok but portion sizes varied over the two nights for the same meal! One night I was served inedible gristly fatty fillet steak that you couldn’t cut with a steak knife so had to send it back. We were sat at a very wobbly table and had to put a menu underneath the leg to secure it. Did tell the staff but the table was still there the next day. Staff table service was a bit slow but they were all v pleasant.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, clean and tidy room with the most comfortable bed and as much tea and coffee as you like! Next to Mere Park Garden Centre and a short drive to Telford and Newport. Our go to place to stay when visiting family in Newport.

Convenient location, friendly staff, comfy beds, quiet room. BUT that's where the positives stop. WiFi was non-existent, and I had no phone signal either. Guy at reception politely said, 'Yes, it's been like this for a while, but not sure when it will be fixed'. Not good enough. Room stank of sweaty feet, opened the windows but didn't help much. Asked if could move rooms but told non available. Also told no additional pillows available. Breakfast was awful, barely cooked bacon, overcooked sausages, rubbery eggs, slowest toasters in the world. Have stayed in many Premier Inns and never had a bad experience until now. Definitely will not be returning to this one. Thankfully, I only needed to stay one night.

The bedroom was fine. However, the restaurant was shabby. Got shown to the same table with chairs with torn upholstery on both occasions I visited. The continental breakfast did not have all the items on the menu, e.g. no muesli or croissants or pan au chocolate, even though I went for breakfast early. Cutlery could do with a better clean also! Not to the standard of other Premier Inns
