The room was ok, but some of the area was not really clean. Breakfast included with traditional English breakfast. Overall was alright.

Avoid. Was overcharged and Travelodge have refused to refund me. Customer Services is only available via a premium rate number.

My colleague and I stayed here for business and had to catch the 07:30 ferry in the morning. Breakfast normally starts at 07:00. We wanted to say thanks to Doreen & Julie for coming in early to ensure we had breakfast before we left. This was very much appreciated! Thank you.

As always this place is such a nice place to stay apart from Ruby who seems to little or no care about anything or anyone, the other staff are what makes it! I’d like to mention in particular Chrissy who is literally awesome! Doreen who is as she says “mama dors” Sophie and lily who are a true credit! Julie and Tash who are so nice! Sean who manages this place astutely, Kieran who is such a good assistant manager, Lily who is always so friendly and helpful! Becca who is also so lovely and Craig who is very friendly and helpful, I recommend this place

A lovely central location in Newport, easy walk to town centre pubs and restaurants. Super clean hotel and rooms with all necessary amenities. The hotel staff couldn’t do enough to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible [thank you Doreen, Lily and Julie]. Heartily recommended without reservation.

This is our first day here and the staff where very welcoming. We arrived in the evening and Becca greeted us with a smile and friendly manner. We had booked the meal deal which was cooked and served by Doreen. Who came and had a lovely chat with us. While waiting for our meal we tried logging into the wi-fi. Which was booked in advance and is for 2 devices, it would only let 1 device login. So I spoke to Sophie and explained the problem. Within a few minutes she had everything sorted. We couldn't get a better start to our bank holiday stay

Room was clean and comfy. Bed was comfortable. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful from the moment we checked in. Breakfast, was a great addition. Food was fresh & very tasty. Thank you Doreen & Claire, friendly service and delicious food. Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We spent 5 days here and the staff's, Chrissy and Doreen were really kind and helpful- giving us ideas of places to visit on the Island. We hope to come back in the future to explore more. I recommend this hotel and it is convenient to the bus station and a great city centre with lots of restaurants and shops around
