Stayed for two nights to attend a family wedding in the village. We had a fantastic stay, comfortable accommodation, fantastic breakfasts, and such welcoming, and friendly staff. Nothing too much trouble. Staying here made our weekend absolutely perfect. Thank you Hannah and staff. Brilliant.

We stayed a night and ate at The Unicorn and we were very well looked after. Evening food was lovely and warmed us up. Fish and chips x2 and chicken and leak pie. Very tasty. Our family room (6) was clean, newly decorated and quickly warm on an unexpected cold May evening. The breakfast was generous and set us up for the day ahead which is just what we needed. Thank you very much.

We both went for burger and chips. I requested mine without the brioche bun and the waitress came back offering me a rosemary focaccia instead. It was lovely really tasty and delicious. Fries were very crispy. For pudding I had Eton mess. Lemon curd and blackberry. Huge portion and delicious. Husband had sticky toffee pudding. What a lovely pub. We will definitely go again when we are next here.

Four Foodie Friends spent a lovely Saturday evening in the Unicorn Inn restaurant. The food was excellent, beautifully presented and we were spoilt for choice. The staff were friendly and attentive and the atmosphere had a lively buzz. We heartily recommend a visit.

First visit for food and very pleased we came here. Good quality home cooked food and comes highly recommended. We had a starter and my wife went for the hen 'o the vale chicken and I the pig o' the pork main. Both were delicious. Fantastic service from friendly smiley people. Reasonably priced and in the words of Arnie, I'll be back, well, rather, we'll be back. Now, get me to the chopper!.

Stayed here as I was down for a friends birthday. Nice little village, easily accessible from Burton. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and welcoming. And as mentioned, the breakfast was excellent. Would definitely use again.

Came on a Saturday Evening with family and had the most amazing food , beautifully decorated.. fantastic service .. would definitely recommend this place and will definitely come back as they do all homemade food and there Sunday lunch menu looks amazing… We will be back .. Thank you .. five stars for this place ..

In comparison to others we have stayed in within the area the Unicorn was extremely clean, spacious and pleasant. Breakfast was very filling and nothing was too much trouble for the very welcoming and friendly landlady Nice area very tidy external beer garden area to sit out in of an evening although next to the road it was quiet to be able to have an undisturbed nights sleep The bed was very comfortable room was warm spacious bathroom with separate shower and complimentary toiletries with fluffy bath towels! Would definately recommend The Unicorn for a short or extended stay good luck in your new venture
