I had a disappointing experience during my stay at this hotel. The washing area had no body wash. I called the front desk three times asking for help, but still had to wait nearly an hour before someone finally showed up. Because of this delay, my kids had to go to bed without a proper bath, which was very frustrating. This situation could have been easily avoided. Basic amenities like soap and toiletries should be checked and ready before guests check in. It’s the hotel’s responsibility to ensure that everything is clean, stocked, and working properly. Guests should not have to chase down staff just to access essential services. I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and improves both its room preparation and response time moving forward.

I was partially concerned with the mixed reviews of this hotel but after having stayed here, I can’t fault it. Valet parking is $65 a night and is worth every penny after a long drive! Check in was smooth albeit slow due to the shortage of staff at the front desk. The room was as described with a perfect view of both falls. The room was large and exceptionally comfortable! Would definitely stay here again

The rooms are big and spacious, No complaints there There was a coffee maker and a mini fridge in the room which was a nice asset. Would've loved to have had access to a microwave. The heater is very loud when running. Had to wear earplugs plus I could hear the one from my daughter's room next door when hers was turned on. Those are my only complaints. Food is close by, The location is about 25 to 30 minutes to Queen Street where there are some nice little shops. The staff at the front desk was pleasant upon checking in. Even got some welcome cookies 🍪. Would recommend.

We had a great stay here! The location was amazing, and there were great views of the falls throughout the day from the higher floors. The hotel was close to some nice food places and the incline railway, with easy access to the main Niagara Falls attractions. Hotel service was very friendly as well, and we'd consider staying again.

The magical northeastern provinces, in the front desk plus breakfast 130 per person seems, but the invoice can only open the room fee, in the restaurant original price of 180 per person to eat breakfast can open a restaurant invoice. Even more strange is the requirement for personal invoices. Names are hard to tell me how they are special in the three provinces of the East, and the name of the family can only be owned by government agencies and names. However, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan companies that are helpless, can't open the country without a tax number? !

Great location, fast elevators, and clean room. Solid beds, so-so mattresses.. It went downhill from there. The TV doesn't allow you to cast from your device or offer the possibility of using its apps. The nightstand lamp switches are so high that you can't hit them while laying on the bed. The towels were more like sandpaper grit 60. The toilet was not only low, but also so close to the sink that my ribs kept hitting the sink when using it. Add to that the even though soft, 1 ply and not as wide toilet paper. Also, the bathroom door kept moving the bathroom mat.

RroiberadorThe location is perfect! There is no kettle for coffee, no slippers, no toothbrush and no bath tub. These are free items/things i get or have when I was travelling in China. It is quite normal to have a kettle for tea or coffee. I understand that there is no bath tub because I did not actually check the amenities when I booked it. I was at the 29th floor and my view was the city and not the falls but its ok because that is what I paid for. The best thing is if you go to the 25th floor you will have an amazing view of the Niagara Falls. I would still highly recommend this hotel for those who will go to Niagara Falls. GGuest UserI was pleasantly surprised on arriving at the hotel. I fully expected a run of the mill facility, but this is anything but. Recently renovated, hotel was brilliant! Starting on arrival, ample car parking and easy to find. Cheap rates and onsite unlike others at the Falls. Reception clean, warm and welcoming, as were the staff. Rooms are a fantastic size, seemed brand new. Location of the hotel is brilliant. Short walk to Clifton Hill. Plenty of food options, but don't go past the Keg in the lobby, some of the best food and service I have had in a while. Photos on the site don't do the hotel justice, surprisingly it is much nicer. Well worth the stay

GGuest UserThe hotel really needs to listen to its reviews. Most people have really damned them for being a dirty stinky cesspit of a venue but actually it is pretty amazing. Very smart foyer, lovely warm and cosy rooms and an amazing location. However, the internet is SUCKY away from the foyer - I had to talk with reception and a support tech person to explain that the internet was bad in the room and it was turned around to seem like I was wrong. Get more routers in, it’s not that difficult. Also, breakfast MUST INCLUDE healthy options. There is not a fruit or vegetable in sight. If you don’t count the options of raspberry or strawberry yoghurts. Personally, I think the hotel should rethink their pricing strategy. It is far too affordable; and breakfast (with fruit and veg) should be an upsell option. You have the location! You have an amazing swimming pool and hot tub! You even have top quality toiletries! I would have paid twice the rate without breakfast, which most properties in the area are doing. Sorry for my rant but I know the hotel should and can do better.

GGuest UserWe had an absolutely wonderful time staying at Falls Lodge and Suites. From the moment we arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and were extremely helpful with recommendations for local attractions. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the stunning Niagara Falls, yet it still feels quiet and peaceful. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was a nice bonus. The overall value for the price was excellent, especially considering the proximity to the Falls.I would highly recommend Falls Lodge and Suites to anyone visiting Niagara Falls. It’s perfect for families, couples, or anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located place to stay.

Aaman ugiVery good location for a low budget hotel. Beds are very old to the point that mattresses are sinking. Some rooms have strong smoke smell and others in the bottom floors are very dated. I enjoyed very much the small pool since it was low season and I was able to use it with no crowd. Nice water temperature. Don’t expect any Falls view, it’s only a name attached to the area, you have to walk or use a very convenient bus that stops right in front of the hotel and it takes you to the falls view area very conveniently and cheap, great for elders and people with mobility challenges Overall, I was satisfied with the experience and stay

GGuest UserBreakfast is so delicious. There are many different types and even waffles. The room is not clean and the distance is a bit far. It would be better to just find people who want to rent a car. There were toilets that broke down and lamps that didn't turn on. There is no conditioner or body wash, so you must bring your own if you need it. Body wash has been replaced with soap. The dryer performs well. Compared to people, there was less shampoo. Instead, they also have body lotion. The staff was friendly. The bed is nice and soft. The old facilities are obscured by the breakfast. The price is cheap and it takes 20 minutes to get to Niagara Falls.

GGuest UserI was a tad decepted in the facilities available upon booking. When I looked through the pictures of the hotel it was shown and depicted as having a restaurant with great views of Niagara Falls. Hotel does not have this it's images from another place. Hotel was a decent price and quite clean. We got in at about 10pm and when we got to our room and my friend went to use the bathroom the door came off one hinge... did get it fixed the next day but reception did not answer the phone at all even in the after hours number. Breakfast was OK but the breakfast area is right next to the pool so you do get the chlorine smell. They did store our luggage but it wasn't very secure was just behind the desk where if anyone wanted to they could quite easily get to the bags. Otherwise most things were within a 10 minute walk hotel did have a lot of pamphlets available for local activities.

GGuest UserI booked a King-size bed suite for Labor Day weekend from here and then read so many negative comments about it (well I normally read the reviews before booking a stay but this time was a last minute booking and I found a good deal with only a couple suites left so I booked it right away), so I was worried. As many reviewers wrote the line to check-in was long (it was 3:45pm when we got there), yet there was a note saying they are currently updating the system/software, and the manager did come out and apologized for the wait by saying she was short of staff. Also, before Starbucks closed the staff made some ice capp (sample size) for the line. Both the manager came out addressing the wait and the coffee were nice gestures. Throughout the 20 mins wait I did see a few transaction problems with credit cards not going through and booking issues from specific booking sites. When it was our turn, the guy who served us did not greet us but only asked for my last name and then told me there was a parking fee and resort fee, and told me 2 times that there would be a $150 deposit, which I knew beforehand, and then asked me to sign. From the indifferent facial expression on the 3 check-in staff I could tell they had a long (and possibly rough) day enduring the frustration from the technical issues and customers who might have bias from reading negative reviews before coming. While I am a customer expecting good customer service, believing they should portrait the expected professionalism, that includes at least a decent greeting and smile which I can normally get from a cashier at a supermarket, I would lower my expectation this time to not let anything affect my mood with my loved one for this stay. Maybe I had expected worse, but honestly this was actually not bad at all. (On our way up we came across 2 cleaning ladies who greeted us with smiles) So we got a suite on the top floor - I must say it is super clean and pleasant! The toilet tank has a little leak to the bowl so there is a small ongoing water sound but that is the only imperfect thing inside the suite. I am very pleased with the room. I read before about someone drank the bottled water and got charged, there's actually a price tag/note on the bottle. So to be fair people need to read for what is communicated to you. To make the resort fee well spent I had a swim before it closed (although it is expensive to pay $20 for a swim and it is hard to agree with such ”resort fee”). Again, it was clean and pleasant. The water wasn't warm enough for small kids as I saw some could only stay for a few minutes then left, so it was good for real swimmers like us who could enjoy a small-kids-free swim time. Many booking sites said there is a sauna room but we couldn't find one, the staff at the reception said he didn't know there is one, and we caught another staff near the pool and asked and he said many years ago there was one but not anymore. The daily specials at the restaurant Don Cherry and the breakfast menu are costing nothing more than any other entry level restaurants/chain eateries nearby so I think it is good and convenient to just dine in downstairs, especially on rainy days. So I am writing this to provide a more balanced view. I believe many who think their expectations unmet would vent by writing a bad review, and I do believe bad experiences do happen, yet at the same time most won't care to share their experiences if things are fine and okay. For me, after reading so many negative comments I feel that I can give my honest review to show the other side of the coin - This is only fair for the hotel and the staff who did do a great job, like the staff, Eva, who cleaned our room, and those who stock the pool with clean towels and keep the area clean :-) (My deposit was clear upon check-out, unlike some reviewers wrote that they did not get back the money after a week) Read less
