We stayed at villa Michelangelo for 3 nights and it was ideal for our planned trip to Etnaland. With mount Etna as our view pool side we couldn’t fault the service and attention we received. We arrived at lunch and had something pool side which was very tasty. We also ate there one evening and it was delicious. Highly recommend. The poor is busy with some local bookings so if you like to sit in the sun and relax with a book. I recommend that you pre book your spot by the pool. The pool has a lifeguard at all times and he keep a close eye on everyone. The pool Can get very deep in places and you must wear a swim hat (swim shorts ok for men). The local town has just lovely. We were very lucky to arrive on the feast of st Anthony. So that was very special and lovely celebrations on the streets. Our room was great. Our son had a loft above our room. It had to 2 single beds and he loved having a special space. The hotel is busy with local events so this can lead to some music etc around the pool at night. We went to Etnaland over 2 days (Monday and Tuesday) The first time we went to the theme park from 7.30pm until midnight. We had a great evening. Queues were quick and if I was to compare to queues in Disney… they were short! There was loads to keep us all entertained. The following day we went to the aqua park in Etnaland. We had a ball. There were secure lockers for our bag €5 ( you need and ID card to secure). There are also changing rooms at the toilets at the entrance to the park. The slides where great. We bought pool shoes and these are great. You can get them in any supermarket for €3-€4 each. The tiles are hot so you’ll need something on your feet. Great location. Friendly staff. Highly recommend!

The hotel is very nice and good but the woman that was serving the breakfast stopped me from feeding a baby stray cat that was outside the room waiting behind the door outside. Hotel was empty and there was no one having breakfast. Definitely first and last.

We had a great time at this hotel. Food was good too. However, when we arrived, lift was out of order and we had to carry luggages from the stairs. When we were leaving we had to ask to switch on the lift. On one night, I couldn't sleep till after midnight because it was Saturday and music was left till late and was very loud. When in your room, you can hear others talking in the rooms nearby. Maintenance in rooms and furniture is not of high quality but inside and surrounding areas around hotel are beautiful.

Nul ! A fuir !!! Ceci n’est pas un hôtel mais une discothèque ! Fête d’anniversaire en bas de notre chambre jusqu’à pas d’heure sans aucunes informations de la réception ! Aucun arrangement trouver ! Nul nul nul du jamais vu ! Passez votre route !

Siamo stati la con amici è abbiamo avuto modo quindi di poter vedere le tre camere a noi assegnate, dire che erano trascurate nella manutenzione e dire poco. Noi occupavamo una camera con una parte vetrata posta in alto che permetteva una scarsissima illuminazione della camera Anche la colazione si è rilevata non all’altezza un pochino scarsina Gli spazzi comuni e fuori con la piscina in compenso molto curati e gradevoli

Mai più.. inizio così per commentare la mia esperienza in piscina.. qualche giorno fa sono andato con la mia ragazza in piscina mezza giornata, e menomale che era solo mezza giornata, pagando 18 euro ed avendo una postazione dove si presentava con i materassini sporchi e fatti tutti di cenere vulcanica e l ombrellone rotto, tra cui mi sono fatto pure male alla spalla.. decidiamo di farci il bagno e sia attorno alla piscina che dentro troviamo la cenere dell'Etna tanto che uscendo avevi i piedi totalmente sporchi. Per non parlare che il bagnino era assente ed ognuno si faceva i cavoli suoi tuffandosi. Uno schifo totale, menomale ripeto che era solo mezza giornata.. da non ripetere, non la consiglio completamente...

Abbiamo deciso di trascorrere un pomeriggio in questa piscina che fa parte dell’hotel Michelangelo. Un consiglio per i proprietari: ristrutturate la vasca. Nonostante ciò l’acqua della piscina è pulita e anche se non abbiamo trovato posto a bordo piscina, siamo stati sistemati sul prato adiacente ma senza ombrelloni funzionanti.
