"The appearance is quite tired. However, check-in is early when you arrive. There is no waste. There are dorayaki, coffee jelly, ice cream, etc. in the lounge, and children will be happy. The room is very normal. Please boil water and drink it. Speaking of which, he brought it, but I want you to keep it on hand. And a thin part of the mattress. These two points are minus. The food is not luxurious, but the number of items is sufficient and satisfactory. It's a dull hall as a restaurant. Of particular note here is the staff. I feel the spirit of treating everyone with all their might. I'm doing my best."
"Hotel Nikko Niigata
Take bus No. 17 from Niigata Station for 260 yen to Niigata Nikko Hotel in Tokimi. The guest rooms are from the 22nd to the 29th floor. I lived on the 27th floor with a wide view. There are supermarkets, restaurants, etc. on the second floor of the hotel, and there is an exhibition hall on the fifth floor. , it happened to be an Egyptian art exhibition. Although the hotel room was small, it was clean and refreshing, and the overall feeling was very comfortable. It was only 1.5 kilometers away from Niigata Station, which was a bit far to walk. But despite its flaws, this hotel is still pretty good!"
"As foreigners, the hotel has no sign in English which was given me confusing where the location is. I would suggest to put more English sign and clearly provide the explanation that the hotel is also located on the 4th floor.
Unluckily my assigned was very tiny as it is right to the lift and it’s quite noisy. The bed is not quite comfy compared to Aomori one where I stayed two night before.
Food is provided in the box which is giving more flexibility to bring up to your room or taking away if you wish.
Another little thing, the hotel doesn’t utilize the member card as key card where the Aomori one does."

"It's noisy whether the walls are thin. The sound of water is noisy. I was studying but couldn't concentrate. I brought the amenities from the front desk myself, but it was crowded and I didn't bring anything. I'm glad I prepared it myself."
"I continued to use it last year.
The size of the room is similar to that of a common business hotel, but it is kept clean and feels comfortable in bed.
The location is close to the interchange, so it is convenient to go around."

LLen VWe recently stayed at Hotel Okura in Niigata and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautifully situated overlooking the Shinano River, providing stunning views, especially during sunset. The location is very convenient, with easy access to the JR Niigata Train Station and Niigata Airport, making it a great base for exploring the area.
The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. We particularly enjoyed the variety of dining options available at the hotel, including a French restaurant and a Japanese restaurant.
The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We appreciated their attentiveness and willingness to assist with any requests we had.
Overall, Hotel Okura Niigata offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and excellent service. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Niigata.
GGuest UserOverall it's very good, the room is clean and tidy, and the check-out time is more reasonable than some hotels in Japan. I think it's no problem to live alone. There are barbecue and supermarkets nearby.
GGuest UserWe stayed here for 1 night but unfortunately the aircon in my room was spoilt, we informed the hotel staff and instead of fixing they told us to live with it and tried to struck off the matter… seriously even though we stayed only 1 night we shouldn’t be treated like that
VVacayWonderful stay. Breakfast was good. Plenty of different drinks like smoothies, coffee/tea and milk. Service from the gentleman handling international guests was welcoming, helpful and friendly. However I do find the staff at the check in counters very stern looking who do not smile and are generally unfriendly .
GGuest UserThe location of this hotel is very good, right next to the station, and transportation is very convenient. The railway and bus are concentrated downstairs, and it is convenient for food, accommodation and transportation. The room is clean, spacious and quiet. It is a very standardized and professional hotel, worth recommending.
GGuest UserThe location is very good, less than 3 minutes from Niigata Station. There are many restaurants, bars, and sushi restaurants nearby. The hotel room is very comfortable and the large sofa is great for single rooms. However, the air conditioning is central, so the temperature cannot be adjusted and the room was very cold, so my body got cold. The large public bath is small but satisfactory, but it would be great if there was a sauna. There is a manga cafe on the 3rd floor. I did not eat the hotel breakfast, but it seems to have a very good reputation, so if you have an appetite in the morning, why not go? There is a Lawson convenience store directly connected to the hotel, so there is no problem.
GGuest UserDormy Inn offers breakfast made with local ingredients and regional cuisine, offers midnight noodles, and has many hot springs in its large public baths, so I often stay here even though it is a little pricey. This was my first time in Niigata, but it was very good. I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.
HHuiruThe location is less than 5 minutes' walk from Niigata Station. It is located in a quiet alley, so it is very quiet. In addition, the breakfast is rich and balanced. In addition to rare fruits (tomatoes and strawberries), even the miso soup is full of vegetables. Excellent value for money, highly recommended.
The nearby Hakusan Shrine is a famous place of worship for marriage, and the Bandai Museum of Art building can be climbed up to see the distance.
SSandraYangThe location is excellent, less than 10 minutes walk from Niigata Station. There is a bus stop downstairs, so it is very convenient to take the bus. The room is spacious enough and has a bathtub, which is great.
AakiramujinaIt's a little bit of a walk from Niigata Station, about a 10-minute walk, but it's located in Bandai City and there are many convenience stores, restaurants, and shopping facilities nearby, so it's in a convenient location.
The room is small, but has everything you need, and it's also helpful that there's a coin laundry in the common area.
It's been nearly half a century since it opened, so it's hard to hide its age, but it's clean and has a retro feel to it in a good way. The staff are also very helpful.
The average price for hotels in Niigata is AED 505 on weekdays, and AED 573 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
