Whilst transporting a boat down the Rhine, we stopped in Nijmegen for the evening before continuing our journey down river. This was the perfect place to spend the night for some drinks and food. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the interior decor filled with interesting trinkets and artefacts meant that in every corner there was something to catch your eye. The staff were very friendly and accommodating when we realised - quite late - that we hadn't eaten, and they rustled up some lovely platters of breads, bitterballen and other local delicacies - even making a separate vegetarian spread for me! A real hidden gem that is worth a visit

Ik/ wij zijn daar smiddags naar toe gegaan , nadat ons huwelijk voltrokken was , en hebben daar lekker wat gedronken en gegeten en overnacht. Nog een zelf gemaakt drankje gekregen savonds laat van de kapitein. Heerlijke ervaring als je hier van houd. Aanrader. Wij waren hier in Juli 2022. [ maar dat kon ik niet invullen in het betreffende veld ]

Bingo avond was rommelig, muziek en geschreeuw van gastheren door microfoon. Prijzen bingo werden pas verteld na aankoop van de kaarten. En die vielen enorm tegen. Leek wel rommel van zolder.. erg jammer. Wij zijn midden in het spel vertrokken.

Ein etwas andere Einkehrmöglichkeit mit besonderem Flair. Sitzmöglichkeiten auf drei Schiffen. Hier kann man Kleinigkeiten essen und leckere Drinks zu sich nehmen, wenn man einen Tisch ergattert. Ist es gut besucht, braucht man etwas Geduld, da in der kleinen Kombüse alle Bestellungen nacheinander abgearbeitet werden. Das Warten lohnt sich aber allemal. Ein besonderes Erlebnis für alle, die nicht an der rummeligen Promenade sitzen wollen

Tolle Unterkunft auf einem Museumsschiff. Stilecht eingerichtet. Restaurant an Bord. Freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Zimmer naturgemäss relativ klein. Gutes Fruehstueck. 1A-Lage, das Stadtzentrum liegt nur 10 Minuten zu Fuss entfernt. Ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Zu bemängeln lediglich das viel zu hohe Bett mit breiter harter Kante und einseitigem Einstieg. Wer nachts aufstehen muss, sollte lieber ein anderes Zimmer mieten.

Hier bij opoe sientje kom je tot rust. Hier kan je jezelf zijn. Is onze 2de keer en dat gaan er nog meer worden. Op en top verzorgd. Een aanrader voor jong en oud. En nijmegen mooie stad. En we hadden het weer mee

Wir waren mit unseren zwei kindern für einen Nacht, auf der Durchreise, an Bord. Es war einfach perfekter Einstieg in unseren Urlaub in den Niederlanden. Sehr nettes Personal, gutes Essen und gute Drinks. Wir kommen gerne wieder........
