The hotel outside the JR station has a scheduled shuttle service, but it is also convenient to take the bus to the hotel. Toshogu Shrine, Futarasan Shrine and Shinbashi are nearby the hotel, which takes about 10-15 minutes to walk.

The bus stop is at the intersection, and it is a 6-minute walk uphill from the hotel. The semi-open-air bath in the room is just a bathtub. There is no hot spring, but you can take a bath or soak your feet. However, because it is directly facing the woods, you need to prevent mosquitoes and fallen leaves, but you didn't see any large animals. Every day, the waiter will put the yukata, toiletries, coffee and tea bags, etc. in the entrance. You need to put the items you want to change and the garbage in the entrance for them to take away. They will not enter the room. The food is fresh, but the set meal is not too big, and it may not be enough for men.

Located within 5 minutes' walk of Tobu Nikko, the location is very convenient There is no luggage storage service, neither before check-in nor after check-out. Only the paid lockers at the door are available. They are quite large, but there is a risk of them being robbed. I booked a single room with its own bathroom. The common large bath is very small and can basically only accommodate two people. It is very inconvenient. If the price allows, it is recommended to book a private room.

This was my first stay since 2020. It was fully booked on this day as well, so you have to wait in long lines for check-in, check-out, and the buffet. The bath on the top floor is the best with the wind from the Kinugawa River and the clear starry sky. You can choose between Dyson and Refa for the hair dryer. I think there was an open-air bath and a carbonated bath on the first basement floor, but it may be the most obscure. Last time, I also used the private bath, and I remember that it was a large bath with the most spectacular view for those who like ruins. The food is a buffet, but it is clean, delicious, and safe to eat. I think the MVP of Asaya is the chef who made the pasta. The taste and work were both great! By the way, the karaoke has been renovated and is clean. It is suitable for all generations, so it is suitable for families and for fun with friends. I want to go again

The room is okay. What I like most is the hotel's environment and service. I stay there an average of 3 to 4 times a year. Whenever I go to Nikko, I will definitely stay at your hotel.

Location and hospitality from the staff are the stand outs for this hotel. 5 min walk from Tobu-Nikko station and just opposite JR Nikko station. Lots of dining options around so not to worry but the nearest convenience store is actually not that near. For my stay, it came with free breakfast every day though I only had it for one day because I wanted to try out other breakfast/ coffee places in Nikko. There’s onsen in the hotel, both indoor and outdoor so this is also a plus point. However, the hotel itself is a bit tired and desperately needs a renovation.

In fact, there are basically no people in the big bath. (Because the hotel rooms are not too much), they are basically exclusive. At the hotel, I tasted two Kaiseki dinners and breakfasts. The patterns were different and the roads were delicious. Each room was arranged in a small box and the privacy was very good. In the morning, there are milk and wheat tea in the hot springs. In the morning, I can go to the sights to play and there are cars that can be sent to the Toshogu Shrine. In the afternoon, I am tired and make a phone call. I immediately have a car to pick up the cards at the designated place. It is also very thoughtful. In short, it is definitely a good hotel that I would recommend to my friends.
