Was a little far from the center of Nikko and traffic started backing up all the way to this hotel. Good thing is we rented bikes and rode into town thus bypassing all the traffic. The onsen was ok and the rooms were ok too.

The restaurant overlooking the garden had a nice atmosphere.
Dinner was a full course French meal served by foreign staff, so it had an exotic feel and a more authentic feel.
The hot springs and rooms are old facilities, so I was wondering what other people's reviews were, but it turned out to be fine.

About 10 minutes by bus from Tobu Nikko Station, right next to the Nikko Botanical Garden stop. Along the way, there is a stop called ``Shinkyo'', which is close to the approach to Nikko Toshogu Shrine. The nearest bus stop is for Chuzenji Onsen, making it convenient for going to Kegon Falls. The exterior is a three-story Western-style building surrounded by trees, and the interior and large public bath (hot spring) with open-air bath were well-maintained and lovely. This is a hotel that I would like to stay at regularly.

A unique hotel with a large bath, free parking, dinner and breakfast. The breakfast is rich and the environment is beautiful, but the coffee is average. There is free self-service laundry, but the drying service is weak. Not too close to Nikko Station, you have to take a bus
