Okunikko Konishi Hotel

The hotel is located in the mountains and is very quiet. Although the buildings and rooms are relatively old, the maintenance and cleanliness are up to standard. Their dinner and breakfast are especially delicious and unforgettable. Every waiter was very enthusiastic. It is more convenient to drive by yourself.

Live for the beautiful scenery, and a dip in the outdoor hot spring is a must

My wife and I decided to go to the sulfur springs in Oku-Nikko, and while searching online, we became interested in this hotel, so we made a reservation online. When traveling to hot springs, you want to take it easy, so always stay at least two nights. This time, it was a two-night trip from Monday to Wednesday. It took less than 5 hours by car from Toride via Nikko Utsunomiya Road. I usually go to the Goura Kanko Hotel in Kitaibaraki City, but this time I chose this hotel because I wanted an inn with a different quality of spring water. The spring quality at Goura Kanko Hotel is a sodium calcium chloride spring with a temperature of 76.8℃, and the spring quality at Okunikko Konishi Hotel is a sulfur-containing sodium calcium sulfide spring with a temperature of 70.1℃, which is about the same temperature. Similarly, Koi's theory is that high-temperature springs are wonderful hot springs that contain plenty of the power of the earth. Moreover, since I could take a bath anytime except for 3 hours, I was satisfied with taking a total of 5 baths a day: 4 times in the middle of the night, once right after breakfast, and once right after dinner. Dinner was delicious with A5 Tochigi Wagyu mini steak and fresh tuna and red sea bream sashimi. Since we were staying for consecutive nights, the floorman asked, ``Shall we change the main course?'' The Tochigi Wagyu beef was so delicious that I replied, ``I'd like the steak.'' On the morning of the third day, there was a light layer of snow, and although the last of the autumn leaves were still visible at the bottom of Irohazaka Hill, we were able to see late autumn and early winter all at once. On the way home, my car's navigation system was not working properly, so I crossed the Tone River, which I was not supposed to cross at any time, and entered Saitama Prefecture, returning home via Noda and Abiko.

ほぼ冬枯れの11月下旬の金曜日 戦場ヶ原のハイカーも まばらな中 車を止めるのに 午前中訪問 スタッフの対応は 気持ち良く、質問にも丁寧に 答えてもらいました。 ハイキング終了後 正式なチェックインも スタッフの対応は とても良かったです。 部屋も広く、手入れも 行き届いていました。 ただ広い部屋に ソファーの類がなく ベッドに座るしかなく 何となく落ち着きません。 3畳程の畳に座椅子が２つ 足が悪い私には 座るのは大変です。 夕食、朝食共に とても美味しかった。 広い食堂が満員でしたが ネパール系のお姉さん達の 接客も良かった。 お風呂は有料で貸切半露天を 予約しましたが 照明が暗く よく見えない中 清潔感は星一つ お湯は良かった。 ロビーを含め 館内各施設、設備を 少しずつでも 改良していけば いいホテルの評価は得られる 要素はまだまだあると思います。 現状での再訪は ありません。
