Absolutely amazing service from the start from nabel and the rooms we were clean the food was in good quality as well good place to be around piegon island. Nilawalali is only a 1km walk from the hotel and piegon island snorkeling is a must go to

Food was lousy, hotel say buffet is from 7.30 to 9.30 but when we go there around 8.40 no food to eat, they dont fill up and do fill up with totally different food, when milk rice was finished thet filled it up with some old cooked rice Basically no value for money

Excellent room service and Excellent food also staff very friend and I'll be happy come to srilanka and the pigeon island beach hotel hotel is my 1st time in hear so I'll would be recommend nilaveli pigeon island hotel for your journey trip .Best hotel ..Thank you chef for the our food service.

Loved this resort! The staff were so warm and welcoming. Our room was spacious clean and comfortable with ocean views. The pool was huge and spotlessly clean. Breakfast had a wide range of choices as did the a-la-cart menu and the food was fresh and delicious. Easy access to Pigeon Island where we snorkelled amongst the fish, turtles and coral all day.

I would like highly recommend pigeon island beach resort... I had wonderful experience such as best beach, Very very delicious food and service.... It's a calming place to relax and relieve the stress... If I come to Sri Lanka again definitely I will have same experience in pigeon island beach resort... Location is amazing…miles of virtually deserted beach and calm waters the temperature of a cool bath! Beach is pretty close to paradise. However, don’t think I’ve ever had a worse meal than the buffet served up on the first night of our 2 night stay! Place was packed with tour groups and hotel laid on a buffet that was way short on quantity and pretty poor on quality…we only managed to get dregs of the soup, bland white bread and dried up rice! We had 5 or 6 buffet meals on our tour around Sri Lanka and, ironically, this was the most expensive at 3,800 rupees. I complained at check out and was begrudgingly offered just 25% discount by the manager! 2nd night we got a Tuk Tuk and had wonderful fish meal at a place called the Family Restaurant.

Great hotel with kind staff and delicious food. We enjoyed our relaxing stay at this hotel. It’s a great location for snorkelling and diving and the beach is nice and quiet. Food - breakfast, lunch and dinner - was very good, a wide selection of Western and Sri Lankan food. It had a homely vibe and felt clean and safe.

Excellent location and amazing beach. Very good snorkelling offer to Pigeon Island - do take a guide. The staff are great and food excellent. The hotel does need an update, but makes up with the location. We stayed in the new bungalow which was very comfortable
