The hotel is very well located, right next to the lake and not far from Hanling village. We originally booked a garden view room but we were upgraded to a lake view. We had a terrace and the view was amazing!!! The compound is quite large and great for an evening stroll.
The breakfast options were varied and the food was delicious. The restaurant staff were friendly and very attentive, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable.
The staff at reception were also great. Very friendly when we arrived and very helpful to get us a golf cart to get to and from our room to the restaurant building.
The only small thing that could be improved in my opinion is the cleanliness in the room. I'm a bit of a clean freak so I noticed a few things that required attention: a small stain on the sofa, some stains on the toilet floor, and there was a small start of mpuld behind the sink taps. I would've also liked for the bins to have rubbish bags inside. Small things though, and overall we really enjoyed our stay, and we definitely return.

Absolutely amazing stay! Thank you! The staff were so helpful and kind, always there to offer help. Leona even added me on WeChat so that I could ask questions and book the buggy quickly. Very happy to come here to relax, wind down and be pampered!

Face-to-face staff are excellent with English speaking guests. Over the phone speaking English at night it’s impossible to order in-room dining or even communicate to have dishes collected. Food takes up to 45 minutes to arrive and is cold and in poor condition. Ordered an Angus burger - cold wedges and the bun was hard and cracked (perhaps left under heat lamp for too long); very poor value for money. Even buffet breakfasts are a little rough around the edges. On day 1 there was honey. On day 2 there was no will in the restaurant to supply honey or even check with the kitchen.
Again, all staff (including janitors and handymen) are usually amazing and helpful. The team went out of their way to make my child feel welcome with free toys and activity packs.

Cordis was absolutely beautiful! The location was stunning servers was amazing. The manager Kevin absolutely lovely! He was friendly and very helpful.
