We love love love the Hilton! This was our second visit. The breakfast buffet is delicious, the room is big and comfortable, and the views are lovely. Our two boys love the pools and the play areas. Many members of the staff speak English and are very helpful and sweet. Unfortunately the outdoor water park was out of service, which is unfortunate, because we were looking forward to it. We still had a lot of fun at the other play areas though, and will be back.

I planned a family trip close to Shanghai and this Hotel was an excellent choice for a calm, relaxing family stay.
However, I have particularly chosen this hotel because it was stated as *pets are allowed for request(free) and I booked a Queen room with lake view. As I arrived this hotel, it turns out that I had to upgrade my booking to a Pet room which wasn’t featured in trip.com website so I had to pay approx 1000 rmb per night for my dog. The pet room had a balcony with a little grass but I kept thinking that it should have been clearly informed or stated. So if you plan to stay here with your pet, bearing in mind the total cost for a pet room will be around 2400rmb inc.VAT.
Nevertheless the hotel is nicely located with a good lake view and the short trip around Dongqian lake was not bad. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for a pet owner though. If you have children this hotel might be a good choice.

设施：limited meals selection, main restaurant only serves set packages for lunch
卫生： we chose a pet friendly room and the room smelled badly of bad housekeeping. For pet friendly rooms, hygiene needs to be better managed than the rest. The pet odour was very strong and unpleasant. I have stayed in pet friendly hotels before and this has to be the worst managed.
服务：if you decide to be a pet friendly hotel, please make sure your staff welcome pets. We had staff coming up to us to tell us to shorten our leash even there were no other guests around us. It seem like they were sending a message for the sake of sending it. Secondly, we also saw staff who ‘ran away’ or were obviously unwelcoming of dogs.
If you wish to be pet friendly, do it in a genuine one. It’s bad taste when you do it for the sake of doing it. Extremely disappointed with Hilton.

For family with small children, this hotel is very recommended. Amazing service from english speaking staffs, a lot of activities for children to play, indoor & outdoor playground, carousels, gokart, mini excavators, indoor & outdoor swimming pools, five star breakfast with lot of varieties Chinese & Western style, spacious room and many more. They provide everything we need. Perfect for staycation
