Absolutely brilliant hotel. Probably the only place in Lugu lake where foreigners could stay. The young staff have limited English but more than make up for it with their level of service and the translator app. They even set up a groups chat in WeChat just to advise us and ensure we were in touch.
Location is great (except for the fact that there’s the road below the hotel)
Hotel itself is brilliant. Phenomenal rooms. Great meals. Very personal touch and an ever willing / cheerful / helpful group of very competent youngsters managing. The whole crew looked under 30 but did a great job.
Was an absolute pity we only stayed 2 nights. Next time a week at least! Definitely coming back.

The name is very beautiful "Recalling the Past·Hai Shi". There are dining tables, outdoor camping chairs, tents, and cushioned sofa chairs on the small lawn at the entrance of the homestay. Our room is on the first floor, with an independent yard and its own name is "Yinian". The staff in the homestay are very enthusiastic and polite. The boss lady? Or the daughter of the sister at the front desk is very well behaved and sensible. I felt someone waiting behind me when I was taking pictures. After I found out, I asked her to go first. She would say sorry in a low voice. Although there are always concerns or dissatisfactions about sound insulation and supporting facilities when staying in a homestay, the sincerity and enthusiasm of the service staff are also rare in the hotel industry.
