The Unyati Safari Lodge is a real gem that deserves to be known, and to live many more beautiful years. A short list of the points that struck us the most during our stay (31/12/24-10/01/25): - Big +: the staff, super attentive and endearing, that we will leave tomorrow with a really heavy heart. - The tents have all the possible comforts (fan, shower, toilet, ...) and allow you to have a view of the animals that wander on the ground during the night (with a bit of luck, you will see giraffes and impalas, as well as monkeys, among others) - The bedding in the tents is ultra comfortable and of very good quality. I, who am usually a difficult sleeper, spent every full night here and without back pain the next day ... a treat! - The staff bent over backwards to allow us to benefit from our entire stay, scheduled via VoyagePrivé. The safari planned for one evening was canceled following a storm. The staff immediately found a solution for us. The same for the visit to an elephant, for which the agency had made a mistake in the reservation. The Unyati staff, who were in no way concerned by this error, did everything necessary so that each member of the group could participate in the event at another time. - Big up to the 2 chefs: the food was excellent, and they all bent over backwards to prepare the dishes we wanted. I told them that a soup would please me; I was entitled to it every day, until the end of our stay. Thank you! - The swimming pool, which overlooks the reserve and allows you, sometimes, to see zebras, giraffes and elephants while you cool off, is a big plus after long days of safari. The place is clean, super well maintained, and very quiet. At this time, we unfortunately found it not very busy. It seems that many are afraid that it is isolated from the important activities to do in the region. -> Allow 40 min max to get to Kruger Park -> The elephant Tswale is 10 min from the Lodge and is worth the stay there alone -> Joey, the guide who accompanied us for two days, comes to pick you up at the Lodge and takes you to discover the entire region, magnificent. He is, once again, a golden personality, who will have marked us and that we will keep in our hearts. -> Stephan the young ranger makes you discover the entire reserve in which the Lodge is located. With him, you will discover your neighbors the elephants, as well as many other animals. Big + for his conduct and his calm, as well as his infinite knowledge and his passion for sharing! The praise is still long, but the summary is simple: our stay at Unyati Safari Lodge was a real pleasure, and we will try to come back as soon as possible. The place and its employees are REALLY worth knowing. We are going home with stars in our eyes. Thank you. <3
