We absolutely loved our stay at Casa da Talha! The accommodation was simply exceptional, with a stunning view and an incredibly high standard. Nothing was missing – from the fully equipped kitchen and firewood to bathrobes, laundry detergent, and even a fine tablecloth plus candles. It’s clear that every detail has been thoughtfully considered, which made the house feel truly special and gave us the comforting sense of being at home. Ricardo and Rui were always available, and the communication was flawless. Both are incredibly warm and outstanding hosts. We also spent a few nights at Casa do Fonto, which we really enjoyed as well. The bicycles and croquet set provided at both accommodations were a delightful highlight that added to the experience. On top of everything, the area where both houses are located is absolutely stunning. While we explored the other side of the island, we found the nature in this region far more beautiful and captivating. Thank you, Ricardo and Rui, for an unforgettable stay – we can’t wait to come back!

A magical place in the most beautiful and greenest area of Sao Miguel. A traditional house that is clean, well-kept and full of wonders. Nothing is missing: breakfast with local products, fresh bread, handmade biscuits, welcome beers, homemade jams, and every kind of comfort that a home could need. The winter garden is a meditative place from which to observe the sea, the flowers and the palm tree in the garden. The town overlooks the ocean and the sky is full of stars. Rui and Ricardo's hospitality is incredible, the travel advice always spot on and the simplicity of staying is truly a dream. I would go back tomorrow!

We spent one beautiful week in Casa do Arco in Quinta dos Cyclas in Algavria. The old traditional houses are perfectly renovated bewaring the tradition and including the modern comfort. We had enough space for us, enougt private area, a comfortable kitchen and sleeping rooms, two bathrooms, a very nice terace an an access to a nice swimming pool and a beautiful garden. On arrival we got all the necesary information about what to do and where to go. It was such a nice holiday. We have great memories and hope to come again some day. Thank you.

Felt like you were staying with family in Portugal! Ricardo was very accommodating and even delivered fresh and hot bread every morning. The views are spectacular with just the sounds of cows and birds. Check out the quaint ocean side park across the street. Thanks Ricardo!

We thoroughly enjoyed a four night stay at Casa da Talha. The house is so lovely, inside and out. Anything a guest would need or want is included; our hosts were so helpful and kind. We really hope that we can return someday.

My girlfriend and I chose this stay because of the peaceful surrounding...but when we arrived, we realized that it was much more. First of all, a big thank you to Ricardo, the owner. It's hard to find such a committed guy, who transmits his love for hospitality and makes you feel at home from the first moment. Upon our arrival, we found our fridge full of local goods, such as milk, butter, local jam, honey, as well as fresh bread, and Dona Amelia cakes. Then he showed us every part of the country house, explaining every choice he made to find a compromise between modernity and respect for nature. In conclusion, the accommodation is comfortable, quiet, modern, and authentic. You can find in it everything you need, from a swimming pool to bikes, to laundry, etc. I would recommend staying at Tradicampo to anyone who visits Sao Miguel. You won't regret it ;)

This was our second stay at Tradicampo, and we always wanted to return. Ricardo is an unbelievable host; we always feel like we are in "God's hands" when we stay there. The rooms are beautifully renovated; the property is clean and well-maintained. Ricardo is always available with great tips and recommendations. There is absolutely nothing that can be improved. Waren zum ersten Mal auf den Azoren und haben ein Ferienhaus bei Tradicampo gebucht. Es ist das Beste, was wir je hatten. Mit geteiltem Pool, Outdoor-Küche und Barbeque wettergeschützt mit einem tollen Blick aufs Meer. Haben hier super geschlafen. Der Service, ob Reinigung des Hauses, (Bett-)Wäschewechsel-Service und die Freundlichkeit oder auch der optionale Brotservice am Morgen waren gigantisch. Lecker waren die kleinen Kuchen zur Begrüßung. Waren die mit Bohnen gemacht? Wie werden sie genannt? Konnte mein eigenes Brot backen, bei Solmar gibt es auch Dinkelmehl für Allergiker. Die Ordner mit den regionalen Unternehmungsvorschlägen überfordern einen anfangs ein bisschen... Die eigene App mit auswählbaren Vorschlägen auf der ganzen Insel, z. B. ob Einkaufen, Thermalbäder oder Restraurants, waren überwältigend. In Sachen Professionalität kann man sich hier eine gute Scheibe abschneiden. Man spürt hier die Liebe zum Detail, den Respekt gegenüber dieser wundervollen Insel und ihrer Viefalt, die schützenswert sind. Wir kommen gern wieder.
