Didn’t take any pictures of our actual room, but it was as shown in pictures!
It was easy to spot the hotel. Also conveniently near supermarket, convenience store and petrol stations.
Our room faced the beautiful mountain so it was really nice to wake up to it.
Hotel buffet spread was just right and the whole place felt very homely. Staff were friendly as well!
Would definitely stay here again.

鄉村小酒店。房間比較小，位置比較偏僻。距離市中心要1個小時的車程。如果不是旺季，更建議選擇市中心的酒店。
但衞生和服務還是挺好的，淳樸的風格。

My room at Vollan Gjestestue was clean and pretty cozy. The breakfast was very good, the hotel-lobby was cozy. Free parking in front of the hotel is available. But the hotel is too expensive. Check-in personnel could be a bit more pro-active concerning customer-service.

We only stayed one night. The room was clean and basic. The rooms are a bit small but we were only staying one night. Our refrigerator did not work but luckily, our friend's refrigerator worked. I think it's a great place to stay if you're planning on skiing in the area. They have a nice lounge with gratis coffee. And the people are friendly. Breakfast had a lot of options and it was tasty. The coffee machine had the options of various types of coffee. There was also gluten free options.

This review addresses only the hotel. The location is very good (both regionally and locally). There is a also a supermarket and various stores all within 100 metres of the hotel. Reception staff were really welcoming and supportive. Extensive parking. Room was sufficient and comfortable - one of many along a lengthy single rise corridor. Easy access as no stairs anywhere at the property. The accommodation definitely suited our purposes and would return. There is a restaurant attached to the property and that is not addressed here (necessarily reviewed separately).

I've stayed here a couple of times this year. Definitely a great choice to stay when visiting Balsfjord or neaby areas. + Comfortable rooms + Location, and grocery store and gas station closeby + Great breakfast, ++ for fresh bread, salmon, bacon and an overall good selection. + Nice restaurant serving a variety of local foods + Free coffee from the coffee machine with several choices + Friendly staff + Free parking, several parking spots + Early check-in upon request Nothing to complain about - maybe the lack of 'extra' facilities. I've stayed here a couple of times this year. Definitely a great choice to stay when visiting Balsfjord or neaby areas.

Nestled in a valley surrounded by lush green mountains, Vollan ‘Guesthouse’ is a gem of a hotel. There is very little to Nordkjosbotn apart from the new Mack brewery and the junction of two of the North’s main highways (E6 and E8), but the nice location and quality of this hotel makes it an ideal place for long-distance travellers to stay en route. The rooms are modern, spacious, nicely appointed and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was superb, with non-standard items such as chorizo, blue cheese, different kinds of smoked fish and a lovely fruit selection. Reflecting its location, the cafe is somehow a more salubrious, Scandinavian version of the British transport cafe, serving everything from coffee, cakes and sandwiches to full meals with basic but wholesome ingredients. Portions are generous and the food is excellent - Scandinavian home cooking at reasonable prices, not overpriced and no bogus gastronomy. Although Nordkjosbotn is a stopping off point rather than a destination, this was definitely the nicest hotel I stayed in, during a 3-week trip in Arctic Norway. So I would advise anyone on such a trip to plan to stop off there.

Albergo molto carino, pulito e accogliente. Personale gentile. Camere silenziose e comodo. Ottimo come punto di sosta per trasferimenti. Colazione abbondante e fresca, co tanta scelta. Vicino anche supermercato, distributore e farmacia.
