Room was clean and fresh towels were left on the bed. There was a kettle and a bowl of tea’s, coffee’s, milks and sugar. The down stairs restaurant offered a large menu and the portion size didn’t disappoint. As expected for the price, I would recommend and would stay again.

Nice little room , had a few bottles of Prosecco and lovely breakfast to wake up to. Staff were all canny to talk to and caring around any needs we had. We have even booked a night stay in their caravan at FLAMINGO LAND for the kids !!! Worth our money!

We booked an overnight stay in our campervan on Saturday 11th June here at Holystone. Got here about 3pm, then went on to the party we had been invited to. Got an Uber back to the camper-van at midnight. Went for breakfast in the pub at 9am, 3 choices of breakfast… Slim Jim…. Belly Buster and a vegan, we ordered 2 slim Jim’s, tea, coffee, orange and toast, it took about 15 minutes to be cooked, was all hot and fresh, egg had a nice runny yolk, the food was great, cost a total of £15, paid £20 as it was that good. staff where helpful and pleasant, no cost for parking overnight in Camper van, just ensure you register van at the bar. All in all great experience would deffo recommend.

Such a lovely place to stay. Was only looking for something cheap as i was only staying for one night, however would’ve loved to stay for longer! The staff were so friendly when I first came in, they got my reg so I didn’t need to pay for a fine and also helped me bring my luggage up the stairs. The room was clean and tidy and wasn’t too hot or cold. There’s a tv and a selection of teas and coffees! I went down for some food, after looking at the menu I couldn’t decide what to eat!! Everything sounded so delicious, it ended up tasting delicious too. I got the cheesy garlic mushrooms as a starter which took around 5 minutes to come, a ribeye steak (cooked exactly how I like it) and a warm chocolate fudge cake with ice cream. Both the food and drinks were at a very reasonable price and received more than what I expected. Staff were constantly checking up on me to see if everything was okay and could also have a good joke around with them. Since it was a Saturday i was told there was a singer from 8:30pm so I decided to see how they were. Overall a great singer with lovely customers surrounding them. In the morning I went down for some breakfast, yet again staff were very friendly, there’s a selection of breakfasts which are a very decent price. Everything was cooked perfectly. Unfortunately I was staying for business reasons therefore I’m not local and won’t get to visit here as much as I’d like. I totally recommend the holystone bar and restaurant to anyone who wishes to have an enjoyable stay. Big Thankyou to all of the staff, such lovely people who made my stay very welcoming.

The room was clean and comfy. Perfect for a quick stay. The staff were full of life and jokes which made my night fly by. They even went to a shop to pick me up some porridge for the morning afterwards when I needed to leave for work . Really appreciated it, will be staying again.
