Stayed for work ,hotel is great but pub had no draft beer ,felt for staff having to listen to us moaning ,so sorry Sam ,hopefully next time it will be sorted and poor staff don’t have to deal with complaints ,room and bed was comfortable no complaints about that

Lovely clean room with a lovely hot shower. Sadly though I had a very rude receptionist regarding early check-in. I had booked and paid extra for it but she was denying it was possible. Kept on saying it was subject to availability and only available on the day. I said I had paid £10 and she then smirked then that I can't of booked it as it was £15. Showed her the email booking that I had paid £10. She stomped off to check to see if the room was ready. She returned, issued my room key, barely said 2 words and I received no apology.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The first night was absolutely terrible. We went to bed and there was the most horrendous noise!! It equated to trying to sleep next to a 747 engine during take-off. I thought maybe a fan had been left on next to my window. At midnight, i went off to find the night porter (who was great) who assured me that he would investigate. However, the noise didn't stop, resulting in absolutely no sleep. The next morning, we went for our pre paid breakfast only to be told under no uncertain terms that we weren't on his list, so we absolutely hadn't paid. After he argued with us for several minutes, i decided to go back to the room for my email confirmation. He then decided to seat us whilst he checked.. He eventually came and informed us that yes, we had paid, and the same thing would probably happen the next morning. He gave us absolutely no apology for his rudeness. Now, I was very tired and hungry. i was so upset i just wanted to leave.. Fortunately, the noise subsided on our second day, we passed a very happy and welcoming chambermaid in the corridor, and we were not interrogated about breakfast again. The night porter, chambermaid, and the Sunday morning receptionist should be the face of Premier Inn, Tamworth south. We had emailed the hotel prior to check-in regarding our late arrival but of course they didn't reply..Had we of only been staying for one night we would of had to continue our journey following no sleep or pre paid food..The first morning's breakfast was finally ruined because of the very cold temperature in the restaurant. My breakfast was cold before i had finished. We were shivering throughout the whole unforgettable experience. Our second and third nights were great.

Would just like to say how lovely my time was here. And a special mention to the lady in the restaurant. She was absolutely run off her feet and still made made time to make sure we was happy. Her name was Sam. Lovely lady and a credit to the company .

The staff at this hotel were brilliant. So good with our one year old son and so happy to help us with anything we needed. Sam, Ricky, Sophie and the chefs were brilliant. Sam was happy to help and bring food to the room on the evening because getting anything with a 1 year old at night was difficult. I would definitely stay there again.

My wife, my son and myself needed emergency accommodation due to our home being flooded and unsafe. I cannot fault the staff members at this hotel and restaurant. They have all been so welcoming, friendly, helpful and more. What a lovely team at the Premier Inn South, Tamworth. The restaurant is never very busy and the food choice is very minimal, with nothing really that is of good choice. However, the staff members are pro-active, happy, friendly and easy to talk to. The team at Tamworth South are a credit to the business and definitely our making our stay here. If there has been anything we needed, they have just got it. If you're looking for somewhere to stay, I definitely recommend it. Thank you to the team ♡

Hotel lovely and clean. Bed comfy. Bathroom fully stocked and clean. Sophie was amazingly helpful and made me feel so welcome. She attended to all my foody needs and went out of her way to put strictly on for me when i was the only one eating in the restaurant.
