Stayed here for one night on way back home after a trip further north. My goodness what a find. Can't fault a single thing. We stayed in St Bees room with a fabulous view overlooking beautiful countryside. Room was large and immaculate. We booked a meal in the evening which was absolutely delicious cooked by the hosts. Particularly liked the idea of drinks and nibbles before in the sitting room followed by dinner with all guests sitting around one table which was really nice getting to know and hear other people's travels. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners and I wish them every success in their new venture. Thankyou for a lovely stay. ❤️

Me, my wife and the dog went here in January 2025 and everything was absolutely brilliant. It was obviously a quiet season and we had the place to ourselves. Everything was spot on. Clean, comfortable room and a lovely area to relax in. Alice and Brett were great hosts and it was lovely to sit and chat over dinner in the evening. I would recommend getting the 2 course evening dinner cooked by Brett. Thanks for everything. We hope to be back in the summer. Also, everything was very reasonably priced!

We have just returned from a fabulous stay here. We have stayed in a range of different accommodations over the years and this is definitely one of the best for the following reasons:- The amazing hosts - Brett and Alix who can't do enough for you The stunning views with the accompanying peace and quiet The lovely breakfast/dining room and the charming lounge Our large bedroom with a super king comfy bed The fantastic food It is advertised as a B&B but make sure you order the optional evening meal cooked by Brett, who is a professional chef. It is amazing and also so reasonably priced! Thank You so much Alix and Brett - We are now deciding when to book for next year.

A truly lovely stay, from the friendly welcome we received to the time we had to drag ourselves away. This cosy gem, set in beautiful surroundings, very clean, comfy with great hosts. The evening meal is a must, well done Bret. Lots of choice for breakfast too. We unfortunately are not walkers but didn't matter views, surrounding areas offer so much. Good luck Alix and Bret, thank you.

Lovely little b&b on the coast to coast route, not far from Osmotherley & Northallerton. Alix and Brett are very welcoming hosts, the food is excellent, the beds are very comfy, it was just what we needed for a relaxing night away. We will be back when one of us does the c2c next year!!

Park House was one of our later stops on the Coast to Coast walk so we had plenty of venue to compare it with. I'd say it was one of the best, if not the outright best of the 14 stops we had in September. What made it so? - the charm and genuine welcome of Alix and Brett - the lovely evening meal, freshly cooked - the relaxing lounge area, conviviality and complimentary first drink which drew people together and prepared them for the nice experience of dining together (and sharinng 'war stories') - generous breakfast and decent packed lunch - the readiness of this hard-working couple to go the extra mile (thank you Alix for turning round my washing overnight!) so we could comfortably and confidently do our further miles. This may be their first 'season' at Park House, but Alix and Brett have made wonderful start and deserve to do well. This is a place not to be missed.

this is a beautiful pastoral location - relaxing and well-maintained, with great places to sit and just be comfortable! Lovely rooms with beautiful views. The food is first-rate, and the owners are really delightful. A great place to stay after a long walk!

Outstanding stop on the C2C walk. Alix and Brett are great hosts. Essential to book dinner. Wonderful family style meal prepared by Chef Brett. Pre-meal drinks and nibbles with Bartender Alix in a comfortable lounge. Best night of the walk? Yup.
