I could not have been any more happy and satisfied with my trip to Costa Rica and it was all possible because of my stay at Olas Verdes. Everything about my family's stay there was perfect. From the delicious food and drinks at El Manglar, the comfortable and perfectly equipped living and bedroom suite, the use bikes and included laundry service! But what I appreciated the most was the incredible customer service. They helped me plan ALL our activities, dinner reservations and transportation whenever i needed any. They were quick to answer all my questions (and trust me there were MANY). I could go on and on about how wonderful this place is but just trust me, you won't be disappointed

There is a warmth to this place. From the warm tones of wood which are found in every room to the warm smiles of the staff, this place welcomes you from the first minute of your stay to the second you leave. You are made to feel like family. The surf school is first class as are the optional tours. The beach is beautiful and the waves are amazing.

One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. Upon booking they ensure that all your needs are met prior to arriving, shuttles are coordinated, they even assisted us with canceled flights within costa Rica, they went above and beyond what I was expecting! I can't thank the staff enough for all their help. The rooms are warm and welcoming and the hotel food was delicious! I will be recommending this hotel to all my friends and family. The staff really make you feel at home and do everything they can to make your stay better. The location is perfect for people who want a more private feeling hotel however it's just a short walk or bike ride to some of the main shops and restaurants. It's also just a short jungle walk to the beach. I will definitely be coming back!

The location and amenities were great. Everything was well maintained and exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spacious and had A/C in the bedrooms. The staff constantly went above and beyond to improve our trip. It's a ~5 minute walk to the beach and ~10 minute walk to the town, and it's peacefully separated from the main drag. Would recommend!

I've stayed four times at Olas Verdes and it's always the same great experience. They treat you like family with a warm welcome. The hotel is in the middle of the jungle and only a few steps away from the beach so it's the perfect getaway. Couldn't recommend Olas Verdes enough. Make sure you try the "Surfer Sandwich" for breakfast. I crave it every day between my stays!

We spent a great time at Olas Verdes. The staff took care of all our needs with a smile. The chef made a desert specifically for us because we wanted to have a desert with passion fruit. Olas Verdes is a boutique hotel were the guests have all the care they are looking for. Highly recommended.

This small eco hotel is fantastic. Set in the trees just behind a beautiful unspoilt beach. The staff are so caring and helpful and the food in the restaurant is delicious. If you surf this is the place to stay. Walking distance to Nosara and its shops and restaurants. Hopefully return one day…

This was such a lovely place to stay! Beautiful pool, lovely restaurant, and best of all - just steps to the beach (playa guiones). You walk through the sweetest little jungle path to get there and see crabs. Perfect for surfing - I rented a board from surf safari (separate entity but on premises) and it was so easy. The staff is also incredibly friendly. My room was super comfortable - kind of basic but very very easy - island chic. Oh and there are amazing birds everywhere
