Lovely hotel, in central location, very close to the best restaurants and the beach. The decor and finishes were pretty decent. The room had all that was needed and was well cleaned. The staff was excellent. The restaurant had good food and quick service.
The only downside is that the restaurants and bars nearby can get quite noisy until 1or 2am, but that didn't prevent me from sleeping.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Blue Velvet Hotel. The hotel is just steps away from the charming beach of Ambatoloaka where boats leave for excursions. It is a modern hotel with very comfortable rooms equipped with all the comforts: air conditioning, fans, Wi-Fi, fridge and microwave. Our room also had a furnished terrace with a view of the city. I would like to highlight the cleanliness of the rooms (with linen changed every day) and the exquisite kindness of the staff who welcomed us every time like family and were always available to satisfy our every request. Just steps away from the nightlife of Ambatoloaka we were able to take beautiful walks to discover local shops and restaurants. Excellent breakfast with a choice of different menus. Thank you Blue Velvet, we hope to be able to return again.
